The no required boss souls rule is there so some of the glitchless categories (A,B and rag s) don't turn into full rng runs where you just loot bookcases and restart if you don't get enough empty scrolls.

I mean I understand that the admins might not want to make too many categories, but I think this would be perfectly fair. Would "Rag S Unrestricted Glitchless" be an extremely unfun category? Yes. Most likely, one person will do a pretty good run and no one will ever try to beat them. But on the other hand, I see no reason that "Rag S All Bosses Any%" shouldn't exist.

i really like the video and i have always thought that the most interesting part of a speedrun is the strategist and planning that someone do to overcome the challenge. Don't be afraid to try making different types of content that I think are very good in what you do. It's generally harder to be informative than entertaining, and you show that you can do both.

Leg Sweep destroying doors IS an intended mechanic. It's clearly meant to cue you into the fact that Legarde is in the dungeon on purpose, as he knows the ultimate technique for destroying doors, yet remains in his cell.

You do need a blade to use it though, and when you find Le'garde he's unarmed... If he had an escape plan, it wasn't very good considering he's always dead if you don't reach him in time

my guess for the d'arce pick was that he takes dmg to a yellow mage once and you rng it to try to hit an arm and not lose any limb thanks to the armguards

Even if you have arm guards you still lose an arm if it hit the arm outside of battle. For the most part the reason D’arce was pick because she is not in the way in the village and she start with good weapons.
