As someone who works with people who have disabilities, I love this! It is amazing that this organizations continues to live on despite the passing of its founder. Amazing group. Here in Chicago they have the Young Eagles. They introduce youth free of charge to aviation. It's a 2 week camp. My son did this and was so amazed by the experience. He said, " you real feel like your flying than on big jets". Sad to say he deviated from aviation to be joining the Navy to pursue being a Navy Seal. Great of you to promote this organization!

Ok, you have successfully got me all teary eyed. 😭 This blesses my heart beyond words. My wife and I have 4 wonderful kids and we have battled quite a number of health issues over the years. Just a few of the diagnoses we’ve gotten is autism, brain tumor, and cystic fibrosis. I would absolutely love to at least take my son there. He’s 15 now and due to the brain tumor diagnosis he’s been told that he cannot join the military, which has been a long time dream of his. Probably couldn’t bring our youngest who has the CF. With this pandemic we’ve had to be VERY cautious with her. She just turned 10 two days ago and is doing amazingly well! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for sharing this! ❤️ I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for future fly dates! (Sorry for the loooong comment. 😏)
