Sometimes when i want to test a new archetype on ygo omega because it interests me card explanations are pretty useful. Not for cards like desires but regarding how the deck functions. It allows me to skip the initial learning phase and adapt to my own playstil faster.

@@kayanono this is peak delusional lmao. yes ur argument applies when it's meta vs untiered decks(which is what happens a lot on MD) but the event is primarily meta vs meta so both players are playing equally strong decks, meaning it's generally the better deck pilot that wins(and the one who has the better read on the meta w/ their side deck, etc.) Also referring to tenyi swordsoul specifically, tenyi swordsoul is a deck that has a relatively low skill floor(which is why a lot of people can play it and win on MD and why you made ur joke) but it also has a high skill cap. There actually is a difference between a good swordsoul player and a mediocre swordsoul player, which could not be said about a deck like invoked.

Vessel is only really good when you're already playing so it doesn't act like an extender. Mirror jade usually hits your tokens and it's completely dead into scythe decks.

Congratz man. I personally just got to Diamond 5 with Swordsoul Tenyi after over a week of "1 win away, gets opponents with perfect counters for everything I could do". I really think a big portion of why Swordsoul is popular and fun is because it's a fairly simple deck to play, with some nice not too lengthy combos and only minimum amount of negation by default. You can of course be super toxic with it and I've seen my share of those that run Vanity Emptiness and entire armada of hand traps, but the deck really lends itself to some... almost old-school style of play by being more about destroying/banishing rather than negating.
