Charlie, you are an absolute madlad for visiting all those ice planets in the clouds. Thanks for this series, it was an excellent game!

Wasn’t hard for me. Just took a lot of time playing itself in autopilot while I watch Jack Ryan. ;)

the binary code given is to talk to the stalkers that communicated with you using all 1s and zeros and then satrted shooting at you. The tower is corresponding to a decoded piece you found on one of the planets with 1s and 0s and some names like "dying planet" it activates the emissary and creates a wormhole to take you to the place you input into the tower.

“ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS, EXCEPT EUROPA. ATTEMPT NO LANDING THERE.” This is from the odyssey book it’s funny that they have a reference from that in the game.

Morningstar Station harkens back to Starcom: Nexus, the first game in the Starcom series. I won't drop any spoilers about it here, but that is another cool game that anyone who enjoyed this series should play.

(I was going to link a completed map but didn't think would console command it) 0:55 The Emissary was taking you to Ringworld which was the "Anomaly" if you will. 1:55 Seppuku Goya! 5:25 brown color portals were made by Remnant Neutrino General-warp travelers, or RNG travelers for short 😁(The four you skipped were no interesting planetary isolated ice cultural backstory; not story advancing. Was shocked you checked and confirmed this fleeting thought! Forgot desert. As per mentioned will not mention the Stalker and transmission story details here [besides saying isolated *Arkadians* made what became the "Red Raiders"] and others can look it up for themselves and per other comments posted) 48:52 2010 reference! 🤣 TY Charlie!!!

The Europa attempt no landing is an Arthur C. Clarke reference

Good catch. Totally forgot about A.C.C. been too long since I've enjoyed his works.

Yes, a nice 2010 reference. Followed up in the 2061 and 3001 books 😉

Finding the logs from crazy captains in slog space makes me think of "The Terror", which is about ships that got stuck in the ice.

Pretty sure the ice planets landers are making fun of YOU for making your crew fly to all those empty planets looking for something you don't even know what. 😅
@bubbles69138Ай бұрын
you talk to the arkadian bots.. they give you the binary.. you use the key back... they give you the response code for the tower ;) ... the Europa comment was from 2001 : A Space Odyssey ;) "All these worlds are yours to explore, except..." :D

I was skeptical at first about the game, but I really enjoyed the experience and the journey of how it would feel to be an actual space explore and the banters between the crew members was actually my favorite part its very rare to find a game with crew that actually feel Alive and respond in ways actual people would, great series charlie and get well soon, am off to your no man sky vids

Really liked this play-through. Maybe you could have gone faster with the warp tech? I think you had access to that at the end.

Charlie, is it possible the warp drive module would have made this faster? Salute for putting the time in!

Just like to point out that the Europa message is a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey, lol.

I would have tried all 1s, as my first code attempt, so maybe too obvious a solution. Thanks for all your work, get well soon

Too bad you couldn't go to the Celestials' space, wasn't there a corruption scheme in progress ? Stuff to discover there, techs prob'ly... Also, there's only 64 combinations to the transmitter thingy, i suggest 111111 as a starting point, like the bots you've encounter were using mainly 1s in their introduction messages... Anyway, thanks for the run, very nice game ❤👍🖖
