One of my favorite songs on MTV in the early days. My mom bought the record and I was pretty happy.

Neil Finn plays a few acoustic versions of the Crowded House and Split Enz songs on KZbin, he is without doubt one of the finest songwriters/singers around. Thanks for playing that one James.

I seem to remember a interview with Paul McCartney and he reckoned Neil is the best songwriter in the world.... Hard to argue with that, he's brilliant.... Met him briefly in Brisbane airport two years ago, super nice bloke... had a bit of a chat before he had to go...

“soft punk rock”. Yep. That’s exactly what early new wave music is.

What a great forgotten old gem! I just had a flashback of being 10 years old and watching early MTV (between games of Adventure on the Atari). Thanks for the remind. This one is going in the repertoire.

Great lesson. In no particular order, I greatly admire your ear, voicings and pick control. You really are a wonderful teacher because you respect the music and players.

James is that a genuine Doug Flutie Buffalo Bills Jersey? ? One of my all time favorite players.. He has a band called .. "The Flutie Brothers" he is the drummer in the band. I know they play in New Hampshire ... a friend of mine seen them play this summer.. said they put on a good show.

+James James Here either but a "specialised" public knew about them...It's like John Hammond or Tom Waits that seems more popular ( If you can say ...)Here in Europe by a "specialised public"than in America...Anyway the songs are good ...That's all that matters really.Btw: Thanks again for all your lessons , I have improved so much thanks to you.

JJ, a ludicrous thought - did you rechristen yourself as James James because of your reverence for 'James' Patrick Page and 'James' Marshall Hendrix?
