IMO, the big problem is that groups that possess genuine concerns/interests about the class divide in this country have been infiltrated by pure haters. And those haters tend to be the loudest ones. Using phrases like "tax the rich" based on extravagant things that people can afford is not you being a class warrior, it's you being a hater. With that being said, Fat Joe perfectly displayed the disconnect that the "haves" have with the "have-nots." Why does he still believe that rent in the projects is only $200? It may get that low in some cases but it is extremely rare. Also, his backstory involves a whole lot of drug dealing and other criminal activities. If you loosely inferring that you need to break the law and risk your freedom to move up in the world or simply escape poverty, you're highlighting the problem that people are upset about.
