The only hard part about these mods is learning the different types/tiers of dinos tbh

It's honestly easier in primal fear than most other overhaul mods. You can see the tiers of dinos by the kibble in the workbench, and you can see all the boss summoners in the workbench as well.

primal fear is not more difficult unless you play DOX on one of the broken servers that purposely uses broken settings. Nobody that has played both mods legit has ever called DOX easier.

@@jessebclimbs dox isnt harder, the only hard part about dox is that its not a skillbased mod, its just about random chances and getting lucky, where in other mods you have to slowly and surely progress through caution, in dox you just hope something works and 70% of the time it doesnt because all the progression is based on random chance. dox does the same thing primal fear does but instead of just being able to progress when you feel like putting in some work like in primal fear, you just have to get lucky in dox, and if ur unlucky like most people, you dont see that its a chance based mod and just say its hard

I agree with you to a certain extent that a large portion of DOX is RNG, too much of it, but there are people that have beaten the mod on hardest settings on the official server 100% solo. That takes skill. Also progression is only based on random chance if you don't know what you're doing. If you do know what you're doing progression is relatively straightforward. Also, just look at the boss fights. Most of the boss-fights in DOX rely on you out-manuvering the boss, because if you take more than a few hits you're dead. That's the definition of skill. It also requires potion management to make sure that you have stamina to attack and health to survive. In PF all you do is activate pots, then stand there and click because when the pots are active you can't die.
