I was taken to deuteronomy 28 or 29! It talked about promises for the righteous and what would happen to the wicked! It was by the spirit :) I am so happy I was lead to it. I am so glad you found this reference! I am so saddened when so many members are saying that the Calif fires are because everyone there is wicked. There's wicked people everywhere, and righteous everywhere too. I try to tell people we aren't to judge. They throw "judge righteously " out to justify their being judgemental. But that means to judge ourselves and the choices we make. Where do we spend our time and with what kind of people. It doesn't mean we can publicly condemn others. We can judge their behavior based on how it effects our behavior. Does someone's swearing tempt you to swear? If so then stay away from them. We can judge all sin in this way without verbally attacking them. We can calmly explain that we don't like it, and we won't spend time with them if it continues when they are with you. Too many people don't understand that we are to warn/teach/chastise people with love and compassion as Christ did. Also, Father's time is not like ours in more than just the length. The other side of the veil time is not linear. It exists in all times past/present and future. It's hard to explain how so I won't try. I 'died' and while I was there I spent time with a longtime friend. She was still living at the time. Spirits can also go into the past to observe or help people. Mortals can't seem to understand the immensity of Father's power! One podcaster thinks that Father's miracles will seem natural not amazing, yet claims to believe in the amazing biblical miracles. He also seems to think that only prophets and apostles can see visions. But 'super natural' just means it's natural but outside of our understanding. It's probably not like scifi movies. Father uses nature in a way we don't know how. But then again, we know that there are satellites that can send laser beams to earth. That would appear scifi super natural to an early prophet who saw our present time. So I would imagine that if someone, who has little knowledge of size cities larger than can be walked in a day, could see the Calif fires and believe the whole world was burning. That said, many events/prophecies can happen at one time. There was another earthquake in Japan today and a tsunami warning, and the fires in Calif are still burning. Another prophecy talks about cities in desolation/destroyed. That also fits LA and cities in war. Many years ago I had a 'dream' that I was outside in a street at night during an earthquake. People were panicked (not me). I had two young children with me. The stars were falling. A large crack came down the street towards us and the kids wanted to run. I told them to stand with me and we would be safe. The crevice came straight at us but split in two then going around us on either side. It was then I looked down the street from where the crevice began and saw a man wearing a long white robe. Dreams from Father are very vivid and don't fade over time. To me this dream was about standing firm in faith and Christ will protect us.

I’ve always been super private about my dreams, etc. until Elder Holland solidified this for me. People called me crazy until they didn’t lol. I am literally blessed with the gift of dreams-they are super frequent lately and absolutely beautiful. Last nights was! I’m still pondering. We all see in a way meant for each of us!!! I had a thought pop in my mind as you were talking about these signs of Christ second coming. Blaming all these events on climate change is denying the signs of the second coming. I had not thought of it that way before.

Kaitlyn, I love the way you think! - I believe we are in the 7th seal. - I believe that ALL prophecies can and may be fulfilled in a way and at a time that I may not recognize as fulfillment. - I believe that the similarity to Noah's day is significant in several ways. The people in his day didn't see the urgency because they couldn't see the rain. Now people think they have more time because they don't see the fulfillment of the signs. In both cases, listening to, trusting and following the warning of the prophet determines whether the people are destroyed or not.

Thank you Kaitlyn! I listen to you and Jared and often read the comments section. It’s like being in Sunday school anytime I want. Your insight and Jared’s but also using scripture and the words of the apostles and especially the Prophet invite the spirit then to teach us. The signs of the times are clear and they are here! President Nelson’s October Conference talk about the second coming and the need to prepare because “he is coming “! The Prophet Lehi tried to warn the people of Jerusalem that it would be destroyed and it was. Many of the people were taken away into bondage and this didn’t happen to long after Lehi tried to warn them. It’s even in history books! Samuel the lamanite warned the people of Christ coming in the Book of Mormon of Christ coming to visit the people of the Americas. I also have dreams and since President Nelson’s October address I had a dream of Christs second coming but then I shared that dream with one of my adult sons…..when I did ( this son hasn’t gone to church for a few years) but he is so tender hearted, kind and respectful but has his struggles he said to me “ Dad I had a dream about the Second Coming too! When we shared our dreams with each other they were very similar….almost the same! I think that we are getting closer to Jesus’ return❤

When you told your dream, the thing that immediately came to my mind was the sign of the Son of Man, and those who will say it's just a comet or planet. I agree, i don't think that's what space x actually was 🤪 but that that's how it will be one day!! Such a cool dream. Speaking of dreams, you and your husband were in my dream last night 😂 and someone had gifted you guys a Bentley! 😂 But it was a super cool one that could like fold into itself and become really small and fit into tight spaces 🤣

You and I are the same! We believe the same things. I’ve dreamed about the second coming also. Haters are going to hate. Sometimes haters hate strongly enough that we just need to see that there are others like ourselves so we don’t feel so alone. I’m right with you on this. We are the same and there are a lot of others as well. But the haters just want to hate. And mock. But they were prophesied about too. Don’t worry! I believe we are on the right track here. I’ve dreamt of the Second Coming as well. I don’t necessarily know or think it’s accurate to what will exactly happen but it always is the moments before the Savior comes to the world. It’s always in the morning at the East when the sun rises. He shows and outshines the sun.

With reference to the seven years of tribulation, I see it being a reference to events in Israel. It's a tribulation to the Jews. Why do I say that? Because it involves the building of the third temple and then the siege of Jerusalem.

Don’t take this wrong, but I really could t follow you on this one… so many things are literal! It isn’t complicated like people make it out to be. I believe we are within 10 years max, but it’s going to change rapidly. It will get so bad that without the hand of the lord, all saints will perish. The parting of the Red Sea will be nothing compared to the return of the city of Enoch and the restoring of the tribes in the North. With all of that wonder and amazement will also be the opposite. The wickedness and power of Satan will be worse than it’s ever been on the earth. I’ve had dreams of where I’ll be and what I’m doing when he comes. It was a desolate desert and we were in the trenches, but OHHH the amazement! (Way more to it but no one wants to read all that) That’s my 2 cents!😂 NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, HE’S COMING! WooHooo!

The half hour silence will be 3.5 years. In Revelation the tribulation is referred to as "The Hour" and that is a 7 year span. So a half hour of silence will be half of that.

@@OhLordMyRedeemer The seven years comes from the last week in the Daniel's numbers prophecy. There are many prophecies of the end times and you need them all to understand what is happening. So we know that the tribulation will be 7 years and we know that all the end time prophecies in Revelation are referred to as The Hour. It's not hard to realize that revelation is talking about a specific time period at the end and not a full 1000 years.
