Yes. Basically after Rocky and Bullwinkle ended, Jay Ward immediately went back to work on this project. And it was pretty much the same: Hoppity was Rocky, Fillmore the Bear was Bullwinkle. (They did add a snake-oil salesman fox to make it a trio but gave a little more variety with the villains to change up the formula so that they weren't stuck with Boris and Natasha all the time.)
