Thanks for the story about the parklng meter,it was cool. I like all of the old photos you show. The one with the three hunters was back when they did not have limits . They where over the limit. Take Care.

I love watching your videos. You're always commenting on digging all good signals. I hate zinc pennies, but I dig them anyway. I know a lot of people don't. I know this because of the great things I find going behind them. Just last week detecting an old sawmill sight dated late 1800's to early 1900's, I got a 62 tone on my 900. I ended up with a key date silver five cent coin from Canada. It was dated 1915 and its 925 sterling. It finds like that that keep me hunting.

Great hunt Greg! Thankful for the rain here in the area! You do an amazing job finding visual examples of everything you find. I don’t how you do it with such few clues sometimes! This makes your videos exceptional. Very much enjoy your channel!

Like the soap tin and the pic of the kid in the pail. Reminds me of hanging the water hose over a tree limb and taking a shower in a #5 wash tub at my grandparents when I was a kid. Lol

I love learning new things. Interesting finds. And old or new.....I loooooove digging up coins. Lol. I suppose my most interesting find in my yard was a parking token. Looking it up......I found out it's the very first type parking token ever made. I thought it was neat at least. Lol

Well done Greg! I have yet to dig an Indian cent... however, I managed to dig a 1882 Mogan Silver Dollar S yesterday. It was a beach find and clearly been tumbling in the surf for a 100-years. Great find even if a bit worse for wear 😂.

The top to the medal you found at 10:28 looks to be a GAR (grand army of the republic) souvenir medal Greg. I found a photo of one that I will send you for the 41st national encampment in Saratoga, NY

What's the oldest coin from your history of digging?---I loved hearing the history of the parking meter! I once read about the lady who first identified the need for traffic lights!---And wow, you found a picture of that souvenir! Very impressive!

Indian head cents were copper and tin, so they ring low. Early wheat cents were copper tin and zinc, so they sometimes sound pretty close to Indians. Later on they stopped using tin, so they ring higher.
