I had my surgery and now I am recovering well. Thank you for all the loveand support.
We are Ebony and Denise, a two-mom family with three kids; Olivia, Jayden & Lucas. Denise and I have been together for 17 years and married for 12 years. We love recording family-friendly videos and sharing our lives with the world.
We hope to inspire, inform and connect with people who can relate to our story and might consider sharing their own story of “coming out.” Coming out is a journey of self-acceptance, and we hope to inspire the courage in our viewers to be authentically who they are. We would like for our viewers to realize that the life they envision living is in fact possible. That having a partner, career, and family is possible in spite of being stigmatized by society.

Wow I'm 39 and have endometriosis, PCOS, intercystial cystis and fibroids and cysts. I have a cycle every other week. I'm wanting one so bad is the recovery horrible and did you go into menopause? I'm terrified but I need my life back!!!

I had a hysterectomy about a year 1/2 ago laparoscopically. I had large ovarian cysts and was 50 so they took out everything. My wife and I don't have any children and didn't want any. Definitely take your time recovering. I was down a full week and out the full six.

Glad you are home. Don't overdo yourself! I know Technology has changed and it's not AS invasive as it was in the 90s but it's still a major surgery. My mom had a total hysterectomy when she was 32. I was 8 years old.

I'm happy that u finally got to come home and be with the family. Take it easy. Wish I had all the things that u did at the time of surgery n after words. I had a complete hysterectomy @ the tender age of 29 due to bleeding to death . But I was so grateful for it. I was ready knowing that I was already in the stages of going through menopause. I started my period at a very young age @ 9 yrs old I was in the 3rd grade . So embarrassing to be honest at that age I had a cousin whom had started hers at 6 yrs old . Literally. But I'm so happy for ur recovery. You look so beautiful.

Hey Ebony 👋 I'm glad you had a successful surgery, If you have to ride in the car it may help to sit on a cushioned pillow to ease the pain of any bumps, for me due to a previous myomectomy to remove several fibroids, later down the line I had a very traumatic and complicated total abdominal hysterectomy which led to an emergency temporary colostomy and stage 4 endometriosis, take as much time as you need to fully heal and recover 🎈🎈🎈
