it is cool for original numbers sake, the 98-2000 explorer non-egr lower manifolds are better for proper egr elimination.

To clean aluminum like new use just a little caustic soda to about 3 times the water let it sit on the piece for just a few minutes and rinse off that's what the truck Washes use on semi trucks they call it whitener because if you leave it on too long the aluminum will turn white and it will take off all the shine

I have an intake manifold that I have never seen one like it nor do I know what it come off of I found it in the woods it's like a GT40 but it fits a 351cid and the lower is cast iron and painted black from the factory the upper is aluminum and unpainted from the height it came off a car not a truck I've had it for 7 years and everyone I have shown it to has never seen one like it either

It’s most likely a marine 351 manifold. I had the ‘iron’ lower as a cheap alternative back in the day but was just too damn heavy with the added beef of a 351 to work.

@@saleen88-049 I didn't have any idea what it come from it has fuel rails something like a crown Vic it even has the injector harness on it but it looks a lot different than any harness I've ever seen on a car or truck the wires are thicker I just squirreled it back thinking maybe I could use it on something or even trading material thinks for the info I'll check with a few Marina's around my area see what they know👍

Had one back in the day on my ‘87. They weren’t the best flowing intake but certainly a big upgrade over stock. I liked the look so much that I went with one and had the lower ported by Bennet Racing. Took forever to get but man that sure was a sweet intake!

I had a buddy back then that ordered a brand new 91' notch back white. With every option you could get. He told them I want it paid off in 2 years. He put one of those intakes on it along with alot of other stuff ( supercharger). He had to park it at night in a storage facility that was alarmed and he had an alarm on his Stang as well. This was in Ft.Lauderdale, FL. When they really want it. They will get it. He had it paid off for less then 6 months and it got gone. Back then there really wasn't cameras everywhere. He went and bought a 93' Cobra after that. Lol. I'm not sure which one I liked more. He set them up right.
