As a songwriter, this is one of the best examples of great songwriting I've ever seen! Thank you!

Nice harmonies! This is a beautiful song and it works just as well as an acoustic number too. What voice Seal has!

I've always liked Seal's music.

Oh wow! That went DEEP! I've never payed any mind to the lyrics so much before either. For me it was always just a pleasant melody and some mad vocal skills. Turns out its so much more. Thank you Rosalie!!!

I thought it was Kiss from a rose on the grain. I never really understood the lyrics. But watching the interview, I realized what an amazing range Seal has. Quite impressive.

Rose - Kissed by a Seal. And that was no accident...he done that shit on porpoise! I thought he haddock good reason but he didn't. He did it just for the halibut. Alright, I'll clam up now.

You can check up Kiss from a rose on „The X Factor UK“ Daniel Pearce. I like it more. 2009. Legandary Performance.

I have always loved this song, though I had never paid much attention to the lyrics. Thanks for the analysis.

It's hard to hear this song and not think of the movie "Batman Forever"...

Love your reaction and analysis. Just goes to show that great art is sometimes accidental, but always in the eye of the beholder. Dan Vasc and Violet Orlandi do a beautiful cover of this.

WOW!! So turns out the song is meaningless?? I figured Heidi his ex-wife was a inspiration. Kinda cool though just like I AM THE WALRUS by John Lennon who specifically wrote it to be meaningless for the fans who play their records backwards looking for puzzle answers that didn't exist!! Great Episode Rosalie! Beautiful song 💖 none the less!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎🤟🏼🎸
