It’s awesome to watch a big-time sports player interact so generously with fans. Trevor’s a class act - no time or place is too awkward or not worth spending the time to scrawl an autograph or snap a selfie. Now you know you’ve at least 1 fan in the UK.

Very cool discussion on various sliders with Trevor's teammate and the reflection on the game, what worked, what didn't. Gives the viewer insight to the high-level chess game being played at that level. Baseball commentators provide very little of this type of insight. We need more game within the gam info. Helps the next generation coming up be successful. Break the mystery.

Bauer, you seem a little homesick. Why don't you visit an environment that reminds you a little more of the US? For example, there is a US military base within walking distance of Yokohama Stadium (about 5km). Why don't you make an appointment and meet the children at the base? Or, Yokosuka, where the training facility is located, also has a large U.S. Navy base. If the cause of your stress is not homesickness, How about getting in touch with Japan's abundant nature? Near Yokohama there are beaches in Shonan and mountain lakes and hot springs in Hakone. You don't need a car to get there, just a Pasmo and a 30min- to 1hour train ride! You will be able to relax. If you like the Imperial Palace, you will also enjoy the Great Buddha in Kamakura and Odawara Castle. There are many places of interest in the Yokohama area (Kanagawa Prefecture) that can be reached by train!

@@burtmichaels2676 Yep, I get where you're coming from but I thought Bauer himself was really feeling the pressure. So, I didn't wanna mess with his regular gig or anything, but here's the thing: he shouldn't be throwing those high four-seamers in the NPB. His pitches have this amazing spin, but they're so predictable in their path. Lefty batters in the NPB can easily take advantage of that with a flatter swing. But hey, I still think he'll bounce back next month, so I'm not too worried.

As an engineering student myself it's awesome to see Trevor explain the thought process on why he does what he does in regards to bullpen sessions and actual game reviews in a scientific manner in addition to asking informative questions about Kusano's slider issues. This type of thinking and analysis is taught to us by our professors but very rarely do any of us apply it to anything outside our studies so seeing Trevor employ these techniques to improve his overall understanding of how he pitches is very inspiring as it has gotten me to begin thinking analytically in regards to most aspects of my life. I feel bad about that. I need to be more worldly. But the ln lastly, I played class A ball for 22 years. Never moved up from there but baseball was my life since I was 6. But I got hurt in 2010 and was out the rest of that season and all of the next season. So a year and a half. I tore my labryum. Not a fun injury. But I came back. I was in the best shape of my life. And I was 35. My cardio was better than ever and I was throwing hard. Came back and lost my first two games. Then got taken out of the third game in the second inning. Just getting lit up. Finally on the fourth game everything just clicked again and I was back in the groove. So it might take a bit. But you will get it. You're one of the best pitchers in the world. You've got this.

I often feel compelled to write to say thank you for letting us (the viewer), live vicariously through your lens and personal experience. I know you have experienced embarrassment and anguish over the last few years. However, your journey in Japan is far more enriching and educational than it would have ever been, had you just remained in the MLB. Stay the course. And always have Faith in your being. Your future will be even better than the present when you look back years from now.

I lived in Yokohama for 4 years and I highly recommend Minato Mirai and the Red Brick Warehouses. Really cool food places and going up on the tower you get a great view of the harbor

Thank you for the amazing content! NPB batters swings down, so less swing and misses on the higher pitches. I think cutters work well (especially inside) here. Suggest referencing Yamamoto’s (buffaloes) pitching. For places in Tokyo, if you are into special themed places, then Ninja restaurant in Akasaka is fun. Gompachi for izakaya food. Try Mt. Takao for an easy mountain hike, Kawagoe (Saitama prefecture) for traditional. Hope to catch you in my home Sendai during inter league!

Head high Trevor , you have too much talent and ability. Things will come around you have a lot of support. Thank you for the visit to the Mizuno store. I started using the brand when I was 12 and many many many years later it’s still my favorite and only brand. Can’t wait for your next start and video. 👍😃
