I had it once while visiting Rochester and I guess they are the first ones to do it although that may be controversial. Also if eer in Rochester or Syracuse one must stop at Dinosaur BBQ. The best Mac N' Cheese I've ever had as well as great BBQ.

I’m from Rochester. Garbage plates are awesome. They’re mainly for when you’re drunk after the bar. It’s the spicy meat sauce that makes it all come together. They’re typically not plated this way so this one’s a bit different than a traditional garbage plate.

I believe the garbage plate originally came from the stuff in the trough at the front of the grill, the literal grille garbage and messed up order stuff.. as a high speed grille cook, waste is generated to get the food out quickly and accurately.. the garbage being waste and not requiring much further prep would get tossed on a plate, and sold for cheap to the working grifters or otherwise disenfranchised...

in my country there's a traditional food called "Kuih Tahi Itik" which translated to english "Duck poop cake" kuih is technically not a cake but a method of cooking but since there's no proper english word for it, its the closest thing for a word, anyway there's even food called "Kuih Mayat" which translated to "Corpse Cake" this is because its serve in funeral, there's tons more weird traditional food name in my country sometime I just wonder why did my ancestors came up with weird name for food 😂

Agreed 100%. These aren't that big of challenges for big esters let alone professional eaters. Love his content but I know if the challenge isn't 8-12 pounds it's not a challenge for him. Time challenges are the same thing. If it's more than 25 minutes he can beat it easily.
