Your not messing anything its meant to be like this. Like where in movies something horrible happens and then it cuts to something right after, but the movie didnt show all of that other stuff. Its like if this were in a movie it would cut and text would appear on screen “1 week later” also they said in the video he has really high levels of radiation in his body. He didnt get any antidote. We just assume that since Woods and Sam did they some how figured a way out. Maybe they show how they did in a future episode or not. For me, the fact that it was so calm is what's unsettling. He was just exposed to the serum, yet he's claiming he's fine and even convinced Sam and Woods to break him outta the hospital when honestly, the tape could've waited. If the serum has other ways of entering the body other than injection it was clearly shown in the last episode. Plus the doctor said that there was something going on with his blood that they did not know how to read properly, so need to be sent to an actual lab. This leads me to think that the serum is in his system and whether or not he's on anesthetics the serum could still be affecting him without him realizing it because the serum has been shown to have a drug addicting affect and will do what it can to stay in the body.

Edit: i need to clarify this. I am NOT disappointed in this episode. I highly enjoyed it. It was a fun curve ball thrown at us and gave us those feel good emotions back with a mix ot saddens and curiosity. I was just commenting that i was merely confused since it did feel like we missed info but that leaves us more questions which is good. Throwing an unexpected video at this, while we were all expecting something else, was actually awesome. It goes back to showing us they're youtubers and not simply characters. So... um... now were going to start seeing the effects of the serum in Matt. Theory 1 is that it takes time to take effect and warp the mind. Theory 2 is that Matt was feeling fine because there was something about the fuids he was attached to in the hospital that helped him not be mind warped. I also feel like the doctor is going to have something to do with syntec and is actually sending Matt's blood and records to them so they can study the effects the serum is having on him

Everything about this episode is off. First the release was 2 hours late then there’s no intro. Big this is it feels like there’s a missing episode that shows how they got out what Matt’s reaction to the serum was immediately after inhalation. Next we get like 2 minutes of them being serious then we’re watching videos with them and what seems like the premier of Matt’s snack channel. The only thing that feels like it fits in with the story is when Sam brought up the tape. I’m just saying it feels weird Also a hospital can’t keep people at the hospital against their will so

In storywriting and film making there is a rule of 'show , don't tell' and this series has followed it quite well, this episode on the other hand was quite off putting(im not saying its bad, i do like this episode it uses peace to create ominousity and tension where there is no appearance of it and i like that alot) there were a few coincidences and inconsistencies this coupled with the missing intro and irregular editing makes me believe this is all in matt's head, my theory is that after inhaling the serum to a degree he may have collapsed and passed out and this like a dream in his head and while this is going on sam woods and quinn are trying to either wake him up or trying to get him to safety another thing i noticed is the date on the laptop and the time in the laptop and the clock on the wall those do not match up for example right before the father son moments video it shows 5:45 and on his laptop it says 5:12 and the date on the laptop is 8-6-2021 and the date on the tape is 8-6-2003 now this is a stretch but 21 as in 2 + 1 = 3 so 2003, also the fact that he never shoes before escaping is weird to me the monitor on the side says 63 which also grabs my attention
