Spiritbox Sirius XM Liquid Metal live show PART ONE, YOU HAVE TO. They perform Holy Roller and my personal favorite ✨️Rule of Nines✨️ and it's absolutely brilliant. 🔥 thank you for the shout out! You also cannot go wrong with Courtney's Circle With Me live one take or Belcarra live performance.

I think by listening to the array of spiritbox you have (incl constance) you start to see more of their appeal than just having listened to jaded; when they release material you have no clue what you're gonna get, and that's awesome. Love your reactions!

Glad to see you were vibing! Spiritbox has a song called The Summit and it just has a unique sound that sets it apart from other Spiritbox songs that I just love. It definitely falls into the less heavy but super vibey catagory. Keep up the great work, will definitely be checking out you and your friend's music, funnily enough, The Killers were my favorite band a couple years ago and then they got userped by a7x (I agree LiBaD is a great album).
@iamdondawson10 ай бұрын
Thanks for coming by again! Ha, we have some pretty damn good taste in music. I’m curious, what are your top 3 A7X and Killers albums? I’d go with LiBaD, WtF, Self Titled, and Sam’s Town, Pressure Machine, Wonderful Wonderful. Definitely gonna put The Summit on my list!
@kordell819910 ай бұрын
WtF is an easily one of my top 5 albums overall, Nightmare is my second favorite since I love every song except God Hates Us on it. Third place goes to LiBaD especially since I like most every song on the album and really like what they were doing with it. However Nightmare beats it just a bit because in LiBaD I feel like the production didn't do the songs justice. Before I found A7X then found metal core and djent type stuff, I didn't listen to music a lot. So I can't really say what my favorite Killers album was since I think I've only listened to Sam's town and Imploding the Mirage. But based on songs I listened to I'd say Day & Age, Sam's Town, then Hot fuss. (My top three Killer songs are Spaceman, When you were young, and Human) I had to look at spotify and refresh my memory and seems like I missed a ton of bangers, gonna give them a relisten. @@iamdondawson

@@kordell8199 Damn, I love God Hates Us! Can't go wrong with any of the songs you listed, though. If you missed some Killers material, check out Boy, The Man, West Hills (or the entire Pressure Machine album, it really does deserve a full listen), and My Own Soul's Warning. Those are some standouts for me in regards to their more recent stuff.

Great reaction, I'm subbing! I guess you should check out the rest of the Fear of Fear EP. According to Spiritbox themselves, it's actually one song, just divided into six different parts. For live performances, there's Courtney's one take versions of Rule of Nines and Circle with Me. And for something completely different, check out Constance. It's super heavy, but in a totally different way.

If you want more layed back Spiritbox with only clean or most clean vocals, the newest ep that has Cellar Door , Jaded, and Angel Eyes has 3 totally clean vocal songs, Too Close/Too Late, The Void, and Ultraviolet. All 3 are pretty different from what you've heard so far.

Jaded is their "watered down for public use" song. Its still an amazing song, still them but its the "radio safe" angle bands used to go. Back when they released Holy Roller and their songs from that era they werent as well known in the circle of mainstream. Now with all the reaction videos, concert series and everything post COVID theyve had the proper opportunity to be enjoyed and recognized.

Makes perfect sense. I definitely enjoyed the song, but “watered down for public use” is a great way to describe it.

The whole EP links together musically the intros and outros are dope how they messed the whole EP together. They're different man they can make dark dark and beautiful beautiful and then do it in the same song sometimes.

Yeah Spiritbox have a really diverse catalog; really nice to see someone new getting into their music. For me a couple more solid recommendations from them would be Yellowjacket (ft. Sam Carter of Architects)(also my personal favorite), Too Close//Too Late, Blessed Be, Rotoscope, and Halcyon. Their live versions with SiriusXM Liquid Metal are really worth checking out as well. Also, your music as well as your friends is soo good. Added to my playlists

From oldest to newest, definitely check out "The Beauty of Suffering" off their first album, "Trust Fall", "Rule of Nines", "Blessed Be", "Constance" (and the rest of their album "Eternal Blue), and they also just did a rock remix of Megan Thee Stallion's new single "Cobra" which is the craziest collaboration of 2023 by far.

Good question! I script my analyses for those videos, so I haven’t made time to work on them since I’ve been so busy with my actual career. Once my slow season comes around after the holidays I’ll have the time to finish up GOD, Game Over, Life is But a Dream, and I’ll probably even do a retrospective review of the album as a whole too!
