Dragonite was definitely a bit lucky. Blue would have helped the odds against it dramatically but it came a turn late. The odds weren't super small though if you go through the math. A blue would have turned it the other way as it saved the insta-death of exactly 3 hits on the benched Mewtwo. 1 one 2 on it with the other 2 or 3 elsewhere would have been safe. That red card actually came in a bit clutch to get rid of the Blue.

I did it yesterday with a normal Pidgeot Galvantula Zebstrika. Galvantula Pidgeot combo is insane to lock a mon of them into the active zone to forcibly secure the win by not letting them get away. And Zebstrika is actually really nice to snipe bench Magikarps before they can evolve if they're put down after you get your Zebstrika out.

Been smashing Mewtwo decks with a golem/kabutops deck with a single druddagon and only one Pokeball. You're either guaranteed a drud or geo on start and if you get drud and no geodude you know your Pokeball is going to be a geodude, I think pokeball not drawing from the kabutops line gives a little more certainty to getting energy going for golem. Also the fact that there are no EX cards gives you a little more time to setup whilst you keep your golem behind a drud which needs no energy or kabutops which only needs one to start swinging 2x golem lines 2x kabutops lines 1x druddagon 1xpokeball 2xprof 2xbrock 1x Sabrina 1xleaf Celebi decks fuck it up, but it's pretty fun

sick team! only thing i noticed is that for the times you're not using Porygon's ability, it signals to the opponent that you already have everything you need and could be the difference in them deciding to red card you or not. very minor issue probably but worth noting, as annoying as it is to use it every turn i'd just do it to keep my opponent guessing whether or not i'm stacked

So I got my 5 win streak yesterday with a Blaine's deck. Deck contained 2 Ninetails lines, 2 MI Rapidash, 2 GA Ponyta, 2 Moltres EX, 2 Prof Research, 2 PokeBall, 2 X Speed, 2 Blaine, and 2 Sabrina. I was lucky that day since I initially tried a Pikachu EX deck first and got 4 wins, but lost the 5th due to a lucky misty powering up Articuno and hitting my only basic in play at the time. So I switched to the Blaine's deck and I had 4 matches VS celebi deck. All of them falling to a Ninetails powered up by Blaine.

The consecutive wins challenges are DEEPLY unpopular, so a common thing people started doing is, after they've gotten their emblems for it, they'll go on and just insta-concede a whole bunch of games to make it easier for people to hit their 5-win streak

Likely the "insta concedes" were not because of what you put on the field, but just people wanting to get the free packs and not caring about the emblem... or that oh so valuable dust 🙃. If it was a concession so fast that you didn't even get to play an active card, then that's certainly the case. I had one earlier today like that on my successful run to 5 wins. I used the deck from this video. I had previously been using almost the same deck, but with 2 Sigilyph in place of the Mew EX/Porygon.

I tried using a similar Mewtwo deck (almost identical setup to your video), then I tried Celebi, then Gyarados, then Charizard... I just could not get higher than 3-4 wins and then I'd get cooked. Went back to my comfort deck (Druddigon/Pidgeot/Flute) and won 5 immediately. Pidgeot's one of my favorite Pokemon anyway, so looks like I'm sticking with the best birb.

Nice. I ran 2 Mew-EX and 1 Budding Expeditioner and kt didn't work out, as I kept missing with Slab. Then I tested around and eventually got to this exact build and it works well. Porygon protects from Sabrina and can be used as fodder as well in addition to its ability potentially preventing you to Slab 2 Prof. Research in a row.

Best "counter" I've had success with is Scolipede/Weezing + Koga, but nothing in the game counters Mewtwo with Gardevoir on curve every time. This deck is rough into all the fighting decks running around at the moment though

Gyarados-EX survives both Mewtu-EX and Mew-EX and with Greninja or Druddigon ot Giovanni one shots Mewtu-EX as well.

Mew is the most consistent mewtwo counter haha. Sets up quicker and fits into every deck. So if you are worried about mewtwo, try slotting at least 1 mew ex in!

@@TheNnighthawkk true. Though the issue with that is, that now you have to invest two turns to set up Mew-EX for it to even be a potential threat. In that time, the Mewtu player will set up his own field, powerup his own Mew-EX. Potentially even use Gardevoir offensively to get a point. And with a loaded Mewtu on the bench there's always the danger of it switching in and getting the final point(s).

Dark type decks are good too but not everyone wants to run a dark deck just in case they run into mewtwo Mewtwo is just so consistent which is why it’s always been up there for top decks in tournaments

Honestly I think this is the best and most consistent deck out there….. it does have its weaknesses and will struggle vs luck decks and fast agro decks and Gary but it can even beat them…… this was the only deck I was able to get to 4 wins on and was the deck to push me to 5 wins although it did take me about 4-5 hours

Best counter for it, in my opinion, is Koga deck (Muk/Weezing). It's really fun to play it and you can one shot Mewtwo EX with Weezing - Koga- Muk combination. Got 5 wins in 7 games because everyone is playing Mewtwo EX decks.

I actually got mine today before work, my last two forfeited before the match started securing my Gold Emblem had 3 wins in a row prior to that. It was nice got it instantly. Was running NineZard with Moltres EX. I also run mine weird with only 1 copy of the Charizard EX line and one Growlithe with 2 Arcanine EXs. I run 2 Moltres EX for a higher chance of getting it first turn. Then the standard 2 Pokéballs, 2 Professor Oak’s Research, 2 X speeds, 2 Sabrina, 2 Potions. Then it’s just a matter if want 2 Leafs or 2 Gios. I chose Gios. Leaf is there to just get Moltres EX out for free or to reposition either Charizard or Arcanine if it’s in a bad spot. Going for the 15 wins I think it only lost 3 times before I hit 15. Now I’m just goofing off trying to make a bench snipe deck. I’m thinking maybe Volcano Moltres with Greninja. Sounds fun.

I like the inclusion of Porygon, but it's still the sweatiest deck imaginable. I beat this challenge almost straight away using a Golem deck with 1 of each Golem. I love leaving original Golem in hand with a two-energy Graveller down so I can surprise 1-shot Mewtwo.

You kept talking about the Blaine battle with chat during the video. My thoughts on what happened. There was a turn where you had mewtwo in the active slot with 1 energy and one on the bench with 0. You attached an energy to the active slot then used gard to add a 3rd. 3 energy mewtwo is basically useless (I’m positive you’re already aware of that lol) so you should have added the energy to your benched mewtwo and left the active one with only 2 (after gard) Obviously the outcome was the same but that one extra energy on the benched mewtwo could have made the win more comfortable because you would have had 2 fully powered mewtwo slightly quicker

I used pidgeot ex and jolteon deck. It is so fast for early game. Jolteon hits for all water types + the legendary birds. So yeah it is a fun deck

Blue was a meta call bc Celebi, Mewtwo, Mew EX and a few other things. Sometimes Porygon is useless but when he's happy on your bench peaking before profs, slabs and poke balls It's amazing. Gio could definitely help too but it felt the extra 10 damage didn't come up as much as protecting 10.

Played Pikachu EX but that was after about 5 hours of attempts and getting to 4 wins on at least 4-5 different occasions With a different deck each time

I used this exact deck but no porygon or blue I used a Giovani and a jinx for when I face celebie…. Also some tiles swapped out mew ex for red card if I was seeing a lot of evolution decks but then really hated mérito match ups with out mew ex

I legit got my five win streak right in my first 5 matches with pikache raichy electrode deck. No zapdos because you loose to other pikachu decks

Can’t really understand it, I played this exact deck and lost all of my five games. It just bad luck??? How am I supposed to be lucky for 5 straight?
