I Had to Spend Over 1 Million Stardust to Solo Mega Garchomp in Pokemon GO!

Doing a solo on Mega Garchomp may seem easy in Pokemon Go, however, it becomes challenging when face up against one with its most powerful move, Earthquake. Today, I show how it is possible to take down this raid boss all by myself after using a strategy that required in order to deal as much damage as I can with my Pokemon.

Welcome to the realm of shortman raiders. Raidbosses have been recovering health and giving you shadow hits since the dawn of the game, and there isn't much about it that seems to get Niantic's attention.

@@hjuvapena It is a bug, and so is HP regen when no one is battling. HP regen has the same roots, should it come from shadow hits or relobby: the server is not registering the last hits delivered by the client side, and eventually reverts them, along with your dodges occasionally (causing shadow hits). When one person keeps battling, there is at least a player left to keep the server synced, but it's not enough to guarantee no shadow hits.

Mega Garchomp solos always hard. good job on your solo. I solod Mea Garchomp too without Weatherboost . His moveset was Mudshot/Outrage and 20 seconds resttime . My Team Level 50 S. The health regen and damage bleeding into your next Pokemon is all too familiar. It's sooo frustrating when that stuff happens. And it happens quite a lot for me. Niantic needs to either get their stuff together with their servers, or switch to some sort of turn based gameplay like the main series. Neither of which they will do obviously.

Why does garchomp keep getting health after he knock one of your Pokémon

Think it's phantom hits. In online games you are sending and receiving packets that basically say what is happening. In these scenarios the packets you receive say the garchomp got you before you sent your packets so the damage you did is reverted because in the games eyes you never actually did it. Like if you've ever played call of duty and unloaded on someone but they end up killing you then you watch the kill cam and none of what you did is in the cam.
