Honestly, Niantic should realize that Pokémon Go is their biggest success and has the most potential out of all of their projects. They need to refocus their efforts on what this community wants and how to make the game more accessible while still making the experience rewarding for everyone. They should really consider solely developing for Pokémon Go and stop trying to recreate the magic of this game with a different IP, it will just never be as good imo

I can;t even afford to do that many raids anyways. It s a challenge to get revives and potions to heal my Pokémon's. Even when i win a raid i lose cause i have to revive 12-18 pokemnon and then heal em. I love the game and playing but It becomes about collecting Pokémon's,

As I remember Niantic said that the bigger spawn radius was too much too handle for new players, why don’t they put the bigger radius for lvl 31 and higher and keep the small radius for lvl 30 and lower!? That way advanced players won’t get too “destabilize“ lol

Thanks for this video. I am glad you are saying exactly how you feel and I can see so many people not enjoying this game like before. The radius expansion spawns was so awesome it made it so much better for a player that dont have time to walk around looking for pokemons “especially when its not in an area with alot of pokestops”. Suddenly I saw pokemon spawn in areas which I never even thought of going to in 6years. Long story short…..If Niantic want to make more profit then they should listen to the community and stop with limitations and huge markups. Spending so much money on remote raid passes now feels like they are robbing us but before at the much lower price we would spend the same or even more because it felt like value for money. Instantly increasing sales as the community felt it was there money worth. Thanks for your videos and keep up the amazing work.

I've quit shiny hunting because they are so hard to find and I'm just focusing on getting dex entries it's just easier to just get what I need in the dex instead of shiny hunting and it's worked out quite nicely I'm occasionally finding random shinys in the wild sometimes they're even shinys I didn't have and I'm also finding shinys that have had a community day but so far not actively shiny hunting has been good to me hopefully you get shiny Turtonator and I hope everyone else who wants it can get it

For the spawn radius, I'm pretty sure they realized it wasn't working with the autocatchers and pulled back. They will probably release it back with the new autocatcher to make all the other catchers useless so everyone buy the new one.

It's funny watching this late, because this is happening right now with the Lunar New Year event and Drampa. Except the win 3 raids task is diluted with 2 other Pokemon! Also my theory with the increased radius spawn is that they were loading the Palkia effects into the game by testing the spawn radius, but didn't intend to make it live.

the win three raids research honestly caused me some problems, i was doing raids for other research quests and once i got the research quest of win 3 raids i had used up all but 2 of my raid passes, i used my last 2 at 4pm so i had to wait until there were raids i could do solo which i ended up having to wait until 2pm the next day, it truly isn't the best research quest requirement for the encounter

I come back for the occasional pokemon go youtube video on this channel. And while it gives me some motivation to get back into pokemon go, it has become a running theme of the sentence " its definitely a frustrating time yo be a pokemon go player right now" being used.

For giggles I did get a shiny Sudowoodo when that update went live, and I had fun playing as there were Staraptors and Explouds spawning outside the radius, and then it was reverted. No longer did I see any rare spawns outside of a daily incense, but now I kinda want to wait until Go Fest to play. It’s not the same anymore. I hope Niantic at least do something positive to counteract this negative change.

Long time viewer, first time commenter. I managed to grind 90, yes 90 Turtonator encounters (mostly from the field research) and a whopping 0 were shiny. I felt so deflated, especially seeing others that I raided with getting the shiny - but I was happy for them. That said, the rates were terribly low and I do hope for another chance to get it in the future, albeit not through having to do so many raids!

I wouldn’t necessarily say that turtonator is paywalled. Most people are capable of soloing tier 1 raids, that is how I’ve been getting my checks. If you have gyms in your area, go out there and do those raids if you have some premium passes to use.

I think the glitch was niantic field testing their new auto catcher, that would allow their auto catcher to catch up to 80m, but not other auto catchers. Cornering the market on auto catchers I walked with my gotcha evolve, during the glitch and noticed it could only catch up to 40 m.

As I sit here and watch this video, I had a look in my local area for turt raids… 0, however there is 7 shadow articuno, 3 mega sableye, 1 heatran, 3 flareon, 2marowak… the spawning rates are just bad. I’ve had 2 opportunities for turt, no other times have I seen it spawn.

Honestly, had the most fun with the game when they were giving out remote raid passes during COVID. Its a lot of fun to raid with friends and other players but it's just not feasible to do it regularly in person. I'm a casual player so the 200 per remote raid pass makes it horrible value to buy just for a chance at a good mon. I'd honestly rather have the extra bag space.
