Greetings David. I am quite a nature freak and love woods and forests. But these days I have knee problems and don't get out so much. But that's okay because here we have two AirBNB rooms and have a constant stream of guests from all over the world. We have 2 rooms in our home for AirBNB guests, for a small income, and are kept busy all the time. You can imagine all the great conversations we have with our guests. Right now my nephew's wife in in Nepal and my wife also so I am running the show together with my nephew Kumar. 4 or 5 months ago I had covid and it sure wasn't fun. After that I lost all interest in everything, including conversation. My sleeping was really messed up and my sense of smell too. The good news is that I've got my mental state back again now and about a week ago my sleep returned to normal. Got to try and get my sense of smell normal now. I'd never heard of a geocache. Is that an Irish thing, David ?

As someone who fell in love with Kilrush, I'm always thankful for your videos. Makes me feel like I'm there. And for someone who has also spent a lot of time at home, I understand your feeling. I'm glad you ventured out to the woods. So much beauty and greenery and the birds were so loud and chirpy! Hang in there...hopefully we can all get back to normal soon.

Good to see you and glad your well even if a bit stressed. Your right to get out and about. It's strange but even if your not one to go out often, the option was always there. But now it's restricted it can cause upset and get into your mind. No one expects high produced videos at the moment. Your speaking from the heart and that's counts for so much more. On a side note, the Vandeleur's would be a good subject for the future as many tuning in might not be aware of their connection to Kilrush. My surname is Keane and i cringe when i saw Marcus Keane was one of the main 'actors' in this tragedy. Luckily not related! I'd love to look more into my family history but hard to do. My maternal grandfather born in Kilrush (Michael Russell) wasn't even registered at birth but found his baptism at St Senan's. Would love to know how many generations came from Clare or another part of Ireland. My mum was from Ballynote, the cottages known as Shellshock so that's close to the gardens and woods. I do plan on doing some videos about the woods and the vandeleur! There's great history there and it would be great to get as much info in there as possible, to do it justice, so I need to research it. But I was think God it the other day when walking in there. So it will be coming at some stage. Probably a 2 parter! You've great family history here, that's awesome! It's still know as shellshock today! 😄☘️
