I got a super nice Stennett caliper yesterday. Guy started off withtelling me thwy sell for 200 on Ebay. I was like of boy here comes a 150.00 asking price. Then he says 10 bucks. Wow I was super happy, because thats a first.

Avoid Disney pins. Most pins you find at yard sales are fake/scrappers. People save pin molds that were supposed to be destroyed to make fake ones. You also need to check the back of a pin, look for paint dips, wrong color, etc.

(Jesus: I got the Invitation formally for the first time when I was five. Didn't have to ask twice! ) Looking at those tag sales makes me wish it wasn't cold and way past the local end of Tag Sale season, such as we had. I found four pin trading albums, two brand new and two full of pins, last year for ...$20 the lot. (that was the price she asked) Sold them on line and I think the buyers thought CHristmas came early. It's out there, but the deals on that sort of thing may be better well out of market.

Well my brother use to be a big reseller and he made real good money but now he stopped doing it cause he can't find stuff the way he use to like 4 or 5 years ago. He said the number one reason you can't find things like you use to is cause of KZbin he said KZbin has ruined it cause all the people have their KZbin stations bragging about the stuff they find to resell, and he said that's also why you can't find stuff in goodwill anymore because of these KZbin videos. Now you have everyone and their grandma's making KZbin videos bragging and showing off their yardsale finds. Also it does not take a genius to be a reseller anyone can do it.

@@CommonwealthPicker not me not even close to what I did years ago and I agree with my brother that KZbin has played a huge part in ruining the reselling thing. I even remember a few years ago that even goodwill was saying that they would go on KZbin and watch these reselling videos I think and now look at goodwill prices and pretty much all the good stuff that goodwill gets goes on their online auction site. You are lucky to still be finding things at yardsales cause sooner or later people are going to start saying why don't I just keep my own stuff and sell it ourselves on eBay instead of letting some stranger get our stuff cheap and reselling it for a huge profit and then showing it on KZbin. This reselling thing would be a whole lot better if people would just keep it private and not show it on youtube. For example 4 or 5 years ago I would go in goodwill and come out with a shopping cart full of things and that was just 1 goodwill and now sometimes I can go in 4 or 5 goodwill in 1 day and not find one single thing.

If every KZbin reseller stopped making content today they would be replaced by others faster than anyone could imagine. This is like saying that house flipping channels ruined house flipping. Why do people not fix their own houses up and sell them themselves for more money. It takes time and effort to be a reseller. As well as a certain amount of skill. Reselling will always be around. Sourcing methods may change over time but they won’t end.

Resellers have always flocked to flea markets. Even when I was little and I was selling my toys as a kid, that happened and there was no internet or KZbin then. The sellers have a price in mind and if they get that for their stuff, then does it really matter what the reseller can sell it for? Resellers like Kevin have a big following and can get more for items than the people selling at yardsales and flea markets. Blaming it on KZbin is very shortsighted.
