I HAD To Tear My Ariel Atom Apart One LAST Time

Hopefully my 2011 Ariel Atom will be sold and out of my shop soon, but there was one more project to finished. This part has been sitting on the shelf since I bought the car and installing it will help make shipping easier. Here's how to install the Skunkworks front wing and tow hook mount, it makes the car look better and makes it much easier to recover and move. ‪@PFIBrent‬ rebuilt the engine over a year ago and the car cut a 10.3 quarter mile rolling through 1st gear as slow as possible. Then it snapped an axle that I'm fixing today with ‪@Driveshaftshop‬. I grabbed a quick 60-130 and it's faster than the fastest turbo Atom on Dragtimes.

You might want to recommend to the next owner of the Atom to install a dual clutch plate clutch. It should be able to make it a little more drivable.

@@gregm.5960 competition twin disk in a K swapped EG isn't that hard to drive, at least for me. It wasn't as ridiculous as yours. Master cylinder or something maybe? There are "race" ones for EG chassis and they make it feel awful so maybe that's happening. S2000 master feels great though.

@@isogamerz It could be the clutch cylider. If it isn't something like that I looked up the most streetable double clutches and it came up with the company "Ram clutches " and just from their website they have about 10 different clutches depending on your application. I have no idea if they are actually the best or what the current tech is ,but there might be a better one out there. I didn't see this design on the Ram website but I remember one design that had centrficly weighted on the clutch spring that made the clutch clamp harder the faster it spun which ment they could use a softer spring. I'm not sure if that has become outdated or not. That is what I was thinking of.

How do you stall an Atom from a stop unless you're standing on the brakes? I just let the clutch out, no throttle, and it goes.
