Hi Quenby, it's always good to see a video come up from you. You have so many beautiful tops -- your closet must be PACKED! I have that Habitat top listed that you were using to cover your cart. LOL. I guess it's a MA company, so I find a lot of it here. And yes, I do have a "needs work" bin. I really don't plan on doing any sewing, though, 'cause I know I'll just put it off and it will sit and sit. I found a seamstress a 5 minute walk away, though, so if it's a good item and worth it, I bring items to her & she does a beautiful job. She charges about $5 an item. Always great chatting with you around the water cooler. Have a great week!

Great find on that Seamstress at $5 an item. I am just curious, what does the item need to sell for for you to pay the $5 to have it repaired? I am always asking myself this to determine if I should take the time to repair it. And yes, my personal closet is full!! xo Q

I fix stuff. Not everythung but valuable things. And i know what i can and cannot fix well, based on where the hole is, etc. I can fix some sweaters in a way that you cannot tell they were repaired. I do point repairs out in my listings. I am a knitter and a crocheter and i have known how ro mend and embroider from childhood. I know the kinds of needles, the kinds of yarn, if repair will hold, etc...

What I have done in the past to calculate my cost of goods is count app each item that I got at the bends and then divide that by the total I spent and that was my cost of goods for each item I don't do that anymore because I've been shopping at the bins this way for years but my cost of goods using that method came out to < $2 an item
