Sometimes mother's have to make an income and have no helpers. Mothers are just trying their best to get by. I'm super thankful encountering the kind ppl at the bins who say hi and talk to my baby so he's entertained and passes the crying stage.

my bins doesnt allow kids under 13 anymore, which is great because i cant stand hearing them lol. They used to but they used to run wild, yelling, screaming, throwing things and the staff were always announcing for parents to wrangle in their kids but seemed like parent just didnt give a shiit.

Im so overly sensitive that i sometimes have to leave if a sad child is there. Even at the grocery store. I want to comfort it so bad and get so overwhelmed by what they may be feeling that I leave. Not always though. I am improving.This is one of the reasons reselling is a perfect job for highly sensitive introverts!👍

No, I do not buy mystery boxes, but I do hand select items online sometimes …..it’s fun not to go into a store and look through junk to find a treasure ❤ love that it comes right to your door, but of course you have to pay up usually for that service 😅

Hi Gina, great to see you! I def love the inventory coming right to my door because I can only thrift 1X a week and really need more stuff, but I prefer the bins and thrift stores too. xo Q

I was considering making Lagenlook Reseller Boxes and selling them through Poshmark. As someone who regularly sells Lagenlook pieces, do you think it would be worthwhile to buy a 5 pound box for $25 if it had excellent quality pieces that range in size and include brands like Chicos and J Jill Linen along with some made in Italy brands? Or do you think it is worth buying a reseller box only if it had the more obscure Lagenlook and Linen brands? Thanks for your videos! I just LOVE your style and have learned to push my PNW hippie roots into the Poshmark soil 🌿
@TheGratefulQueen20 сағат бұрын
That would be a great deal for only $25. I have done 5 lbs of kids clothes for $25 on poshmark and sold every box. I think the title and keywords would be crucial so people can find your boxes. Keep us posted 📫 xo Q

Love your finds. A pro tip given to me by someone else, turn everything inside out to inspect. It will show alterations, stains, lining problems, etc. Hold cashmere to the light in one layer to expose the holes or repairs needed. It’s hard when we are excited about a find or tired from the big dig, but $worth it.

My 14 yr old son is obsessed with thrifting probably even more than I am. The bins closest to me (Dallas bins) is 18+ only and makes him so sad. We drive further to go to other bins that he’s allowed into but those are horrible and mostly trash. I wish he could go to Dallas bins because it’s amazing. But on the flip side I am happy there aren’t little ones/ babies running around. Lol.

OMG at my bins there are crying kids all the time. Kids running around playing with the toys and the staff says nothing. It drives me crazy and I want to complain, but I always stop myself becuse then I think that maybe that Mom does this to support her family and cannot afford child care and she doesn't have a choice but to bring her kids. So I never complain, but it does drive me crazy.
@TheGratefulQueenКүн бұрын
Same. I have never said anything either. It's not my place. Several viewers wrote in that there bins have a no children rule. I Love kids. I work with kids and am a total kid person, but I just don't think the bins is the right place for most kids. agreed! xo Q

I don't think kids should be at the bins. The number of knives I have pulled out of random clothing bins makes it way too unsafe. even if you're watching them in the hard good where most of the danger lies, they could easily get hurt in the soft clothing. I see some parents put them inside the carts with a toy. When that works that's cool, but it doesn't usually work.
@TheGratefulQueen2 күн бұрын
Totally agree. I didn't even think about the knives, I think about the glass. Adults cut themselves regularly. You are right, it's a safety issue, because I LOVE kids so its not about that at all. Thank you xo Q

Maxi dresses ……I don’t like photoing them either…but I have used a pull down white shade as a background for tall/long items and instead of taking them in square mode I take the photos in the larger size photo. Then I use Diptic (an app) and choose the square split in 2 lengthwise option and put the front of the dress on one side and the back of the dress on the other side ….hopefully that makes sense 🤔
@TheGratefulQueen2 күн бұрын
Yes, that makes sense. I list on ebay 1st so I don't have to make them square. When I use vendoo to crosspost to poshmark, they somehow do the square thing. Sounds like you have a good system. xo Q

I don’t believe children or babies should be allowed to be at the bins. It is dangerous on so many levels. So many times I have seen kids playing on scooters that fall and get hurt, or they get cut on glass from glass that makes it to the floor, or they get stepped on by people who don’t see them and this is just to name a few reasons why I believe this. Not to mention some parents just let them run around while they shop. I’m always watching the kids just because they decide to leave the building and the parents don’t even notice
