Explanation for the Titan info: If a dumb Titan eats a Titan shifter like Eren, Reiner, bertholdt or Annie the host of that dumb Titan becomes human and gains the ability of the Titan shifter. Like Ymir ate Reiner and bertholdts friend, she turned back to human and gained the Titan power of the boy she ate. Also the dumb titans don’t have control of who they eat they just mindlessly eat humans in the hope that they can turn back

0:17 The simple answer to this question is that the faster variety is impractical for fighting titans. Kenny's crew has ODM gear which fires hooks from the attachments on their guns. This makes them perfect for killing people as you only need one hand to shoot a kill shot. However, for titans you need to slice their nape with two swords, so having a design that sacrifices one of your arms for the sake of movement would be detrimental.

Ymir was in that pure titans form for 60years not centuries. basicly (as you have already seen) Ymir and other people where thrown off a wall and turned into Pure Titans. pure titans then hunt humans only to eat because of the drive to return back to their human form. but the only way for them to turn back into a human is to eat a Titan Shifter (like Eren or Reiners friend that was eaten) this will turn them back into a human with amnesia and also.give them the power of the titan shifter they ate. if Eren eats Bertoldt for example. Eren will gain the colossus titan ls power.

The first part of season 3 has such weird pacing, imo. It ofc answers a lot of questions, while at the same tome creates more of them. So, it is very important to the overall plot, but some parts of it almost feels a little "filler"-like and uninspired. I can't put my finger on it, but it seems to me that the author decided that this part of the story needed more padding, so it is extra drawn-out.
