So my mom bought a house and has a bunch of recipes from Home Depot, I heard tax accountant charge extra if you give them recipes, how should I give them the expenses? Write them down? Add them up ? I don’t know 😢

You add them all up and give them all the categories and calculations. I keep all my receipts myself

Ok so we are military and I'm not an American citizen,in all those 10 years I have been married I never seen us paying something to the government,we always got money back....so here is probably a stupid question lol: Do you get any money back at all or do you as a small business owner have to do all this work so the government doesn't take more then they already do from you? I'm confused how this system works in the states owning a business ( I'm from Europe.) Kind of scary thinking I don't even get anything back,that I literally have to do all this work so I don't end up in jail cause I can't pay lol.

What do you mean with milage? is that oil or gas expenses?

You can use the standard mileage rate. It’s a common way to write off gas and other vehicle-related costs for tax purposes.

I never used one, so I’m not sure. The nice part about this is that it’s all linked together. So what you enter on one spreadsheet automatically feeds into another saving you time! I like having it on the computer personally but everyone is different!
