Every universe can have a different shtick and doing your own universe with your own twists is what MAKES it fun! My Shadow’s still the same guy but he just has a bit MORE happiness in his life because that’s what he DESERVES! Heck if u try to stick too much to canon u can’t really do much anyway! If he hated it, this channel wouldn't exist, I think he's saying he used to hate Shadow, he made a video saying "I hate Sonic the hedgehog" but that was a long time ago, it would made more sense to say "I use to hate Sonic" or "I use to hate Shadow" but that's the way he made the video(s).

One thing keeping in mind is most of your videos in the past have been comedic in nature so of course Shadow won't act seriously but now that you have been doing cinematic videos, you have been adding more depth to his character and that's something that can be admired.

I think I can relate actually. Well, I don't have VRchat. And no one told me (for now at least) anything about my characterization of the characters that I Rollplay as being an "Insult", or something similar to the original character itself (Well, there had been one or two that I sorta did, but only characters that honestly, no one likes at all and needs some sweet karma XD). Although in my case, if I try to be as faithful as possible, I give them one or another detail that makes me part of said character who I take the role. Giving it a more personal touch, or giving me reasons to use said character again. As for you're characterization of Shadow's personality? I figured it was a parody the moment I saw your videos. Specially Sonic & Shadow go to court which is personally one of my favorites. That ending is still hilarious. X,D

Couldn’t say all of that any better 👏 👏 👏 it’s kinda like with Tails, sure I play him the same as actual Tails but 1. I like to take some of his things to be comedic. Like the love for mints for example or do something like swearing in one video, which he probably wouldn’t do in canon. 2. I’ve even made other variants of Tails that are a little more different. Like you said, we are mostly parody channels. We do what we do to entertain. We can be goofy AND serious. There’s nothing wrong with portraying a character differently because it’s not like it ruins the actual canon characters that SEGA is in control of. ^^ At the end of the day, it’s all for fun.

I have to confess..... I loved Shadow the Hedgehog since I was 3 years old. I'm almost 13 now. The reason I loved him so so much is because....... because I went through something very similar to what he went through. I secretly felt alone until I saw him.
