Although that is not the cammer in the video, I do strongly agree with you that there are way too many of those "drivers" that tailgate and road rage because the vehicle in front of them won't go more than 10 over the limit and they want to to do 25-50 over. I do a lot of motorcycle riding in PA, and honestly I don't always feel safe going 20+ over the limit. Well, when that's the case, if there is a car behind me they will come within feet of my rear tire if I'm not doing at least 15 over. It happens to me countless times and pisses me off hard. I drive on unfamiliar areas using GPS all the time. That's not an excuse. If someone behind you is coming faster than you you just let him pass. If you are not in a good emotional condition to drive just do not drive. Also, many drivers do this out of spite. They drive slow and when you try to pass them they speed up. Sometimes even endangering your life while doing it. So, there's no excuse.

I haven't found a good legal solution to passing and evading idiot slow drivers. They outnumber normal drivers here in the States. Right now I'm going through a year of crap because a slow driver brake checked me and started a fight, he did it few more times forcing me to evade and try to pass him, he then throttled up sending me off the road so I wouldn't hit the jerk. Totaled my car, a rare supercharged 80s car, I ended up scraping the brake checker and hitting another car in the opposing lanes....All because some jerk decided to drive 10 under in the fast lane and block me. You try explaining that to the law and they only see you as an aggressive driver. This slow nonsense is one of the largest causes of death on the roads

My town is terrible for slow drivers. The speed limit is 45mph on most roads and I go 5mph below the speed limit or 40mph. I used to be the fastest one on the road, passed everything, even a few cops got their doors blown off. Whipped in and out of traffic, tailgating, cussing, using the emergency lane to pass, I did it all. Payed the price for it big time. Then one day I slowed down and drove like I had some sense. Still made it to work and home on time, didn't miss appointments, and If I was late.....no big deal! My commute time didn't change that much. What I noticed after I got over the shock of driving the speed limit or below. Was it's so much easier on my sanity, my equipment, and my wallet. I don't have to worry about how slow the car in front is travelling. I don't have to worry about the unnecessary wear and tear on my car. Fuel mileage went up. Try it sometime, you'll be surprised how much easier and less stressful it is on you. Until you do try it, you need to remember this..... The speed limit is the maximum speed limit, not a requirement, not a suggestion, it is the fastest you are legally allowed to drive. The car in front of you that's not going as fast as you would like, has every right to be on the road, assuming their legal, as you do. When you start paying for everyone else's insurance, gas, tires, registration, property tax, etc..... Then they should get out of your way. Until then, share the road and be patient. I live in the boonies, some of these older folks drive super slow. I just remember, they have every right to do what they do!

Hell, going 20 over speed limit is too slow for some people. Depending on path to destination, speeding can sometimes only save you a few minutes. We've had two 5 car pile ups with people dead in 2 weeks thanks to impatient drivers. Pickup truck drivers tend to be the worst drivers on the road!

Florida just passed a new law. if you drive-in the left lane for too long, it doesn't matter what other traffic is doing Or if there's no other traffic on the road at all, if you drive-in the left lane too long you get a big fine. That's on top of the already existing law drive in the rightmost lane except while passing law.

@@xn7331 I know. Some cops do enforce it, from my personal experience. The 1st 10 years that I lived here I did work with the court system so I do know they do enforce it to some degree. It just doesn't appear to be enforced to a functional degree from the opinion of us traveling on the roads and from reading comments. The real problem is that the state troopers are the only ones who have any traffic law education. County police and county sheriff's department officers do not know traffic law. If cops knew law, they would take jobs making more money and not get shot at for a living.

Some people want to go slower at night due to reduced visibility. At least this driver let you pass them. However the speed in general and at which you were going around the corner didn't seem all that safe once you passed the driver. I also noticed another car pull out Into traffic just before you almost collided with them. I drive slowly because it saves petrol, and just find the drive more relaxing, if someone behind tries rush me by honking or flashing their lights at me etc I do my bit to make the roads safer by taking a longer route to my destination via going the same way, or not going when I can at junctions, its the only way they learn patience, they shouldn't expect anything different when they are distracting me.

And I really doubt that his high beams can blind you around turns. 4 seconds after you pass him you are already facing a different direction and continue speeding around like 4 other turns. Speeding in a neighborhood isn't safe or a good idea no matter what time of night it is or any other excuse you have.

+j6xtac0s a car length is orderly reasonable at 20mph and the road curves a bit but there's nothing blocking light so believe it or not, his high beams are still blinding. I do agree that I was going too fast in the subdivision though.

In the first clip it was in the dark on a narrow road, of course the dude is driving slower cause he's cautious and in the second clip you crossed a full line. Like don't sit their and criticize others because what you were doing wasn't safe either.
