I lost my Mandala stamped Halo Lion at Goat Island in Cramerton NC. I loved that disc. Lost a star Mako3 on the same hole in almost the exact same spot, but I wasn’t as upset about that one.

I once had a guy find my clash lotus, just to call me and say “finder’s keepers”. That disc was my first ace disc and I even wrote down which hole I aced on the disc itself. Even though I should have cussed him out, I even offered to pay him for it back, and he called me a shithead followed by a hangup I hope that man loses every disc he ever buys ngl. That or he misses every c1 putt with a far shank

Rip to my old star sidewinder. It had a cool pepsi style dye job. Was my 3rd ace on a pretty narrow 300 ft right. Perfect line. Lost in a marsh. Looked for 45 mins in an absolute torrential downpour with no luck.

Just lost my perfectly seasoned buzzz playing a new course in the rain. Cut my legs to shit for an hour and a half, but it was a stolen disc from before I knew better, so I can’t be pissed but I’m pissed. I learned to throw with it and looking back it was shown no love before I found it. I think I’m going back with jeans and a weed whacker.

Found a pink Tesla last week... No name... and frankly... it was pink... and I have a Tesla... and this thing was a completely different shape.. (Truly.. you could see the completely different profile, it has a slight pop-top and drop edge, mine is dead flat (and I guess that also means the rim is pulled up.. or the pop-top pushes it's rim down) anyhooze it flew completely different)... So I asked everyone I played with (or passed, or caught up with before they saw me and ran away)... no one had lost it... and a week later... I had it in my bag.. again no one claimed it... so end of the day.. just getting near dusk (5pm in NZ winterish...).. was headed up to the top of the hill to meet a mate and brag about how I managed to go shot for shot with a top local (who granted was having an off day, bogeyed hole 1 and I didn't bogey 2 rounds of 10 holes)... Thought I'd throw this pink thing up at the hole my mate was throwing down to... and realised he was accompanied by another mate I hadn't seen for a month or too... and as he get's within greeting distance... 1st thing he asks... "Hey you haven't found any discs lately have you" "What colour"? "Pink".. "A Tesla"? ""uhhh yes..." "Look on the ground in front of you"... He only throws a handful of discs.. and this was one.. and for some reason.. the only one he hadn't named... hmm thinking about that "Handful of discs"... I tried just that earlier in the day... 4 discs, one per finger of one hand... found 3 was better, little finger just didn't cut it... Flippy on the bottom, stable then overstable on top... to try and make up for the (at least 20deg) different angles of the discs in mu hand... Managed to get them all about 150ft... Looks pretty... could only get the stable and overstable near flight.. just not flippy enough for the lower to counter the angle and have 3 fly in unison... Next weekend I might try throwing a tree at my discs!.

TSA Votum is a pretty solid 7 speed fairway. Also you should try a Yikun Hou Yi in Glaze plastic just cause I'm loving that disc right now and its weird and like 10 bucks most of the time, can't speak to the mids but the drivers from them in general that I got on sale for like 6 bucks each for premium plastic have been pretty money.

Even worse in Texas where every plant and creature in sight wants to kill you. When I lose a disc I really love, I’m literally bloody and covered in bug bites by the time I find it, and then i deal with poisonous plant rashes for the rest of the month lol

So if some dude went out took time to find it and totally drug the river lake whatever and found it called you and ask3d for ten bucks for their time would that be worth it? I mean people's time is worth something right ? I have a buddy who's doing just that and he's getting roasted for it and mind you there's people throwing 4 jades into this lake and I'm like when it didn't work the first time why did you do it three more times and also why throw a understable disc when there's water to the right and a head wind most of the time. Anyways I'm getting off topic 10 bucks cool or no I mean he's like a bounty hunter so if it cost me ten I'd be so stoked.

I lost my champion mako3 yesterday in a muddy pond... my first and only ace was obtained with this disc and it was custom dyed by my wife, the worst part is that it happened not because i overestimated my abilities, i underestimated my abilities. 😢

I always call and text if there's a number on the disc but honestly 90% of the time ppl don't answer or they love in a different state and someone else had already found it and kept instead of at least trying to give it back. I found a simon signed mind bender that had somehow made it all the way from north Carolina to Idaho when I found it and the guy had it stolen out of his truck along with his whole bag but was super happy to have the one disc he cared about most back after I mailed it to him.

I typically lose distance drivers so now just using DX Beasts, Wraiths, and Destroyers for any risky shots with no emotional attachment, repeatable, cheap and easy to replace.

Never give up hope. I played a round at my local course on Sat. and found my old FD sitting on top of the #10 basket. It disappeared into a fern in Sept. last year. I shed a tear of joy as I re-checked its "In bag" status in my UDisc. The disc golf gods giveth, and taketh away.

I literally got a Kaxe Z in K3, and lost it on MY VERY FIRST FUCKING THROW WITH IT! I just got the retooled Kaxe and god dammit I'm even more mad because this thing is magical. I COULD'VE HAD THIS JOY IN MY HEART ALL THIS TIME!

Bag the doomsday discs area 51. Shallow overstable putt and approach. Doomsday has a decent set. The Rot putter is a great throwing putter too

Yesterday someone called me to return one of favorite Invaders. It meant a lot because usually lost discs on this course don’t get returned. One of my Valkyries was up on the roof and I couldn’t get it down. It was there for weeks and one day I showed up after a light snow had melted, and it was gone. Same course: I put one of my 2020 Koling Birds in a tree. Came back the next day and it was gone. So far, three of my babies have been lost to this course
