...Getting a good modern troll level in super expert no skip is just... Perfection. (The second one, to be fair, might have been doing the 'knowledge checkpoint' trope - where you learn something late in the level that changes how you play it - rather than it being complete bs with the hidden path to the exit which Ryu just... bypassed entirely. So the level might not have been 2/3 fake, but a level with the reward being instructions on how to find what Ryu did at the end)

That second level was actually pretty nice ! I’m not a fan of levels that keep trying to kill u and just trolls but that one was something else, was a refreshing malicious level and I liked it a lot and that ending when the switch were different was so cool

With the one level the reason it was erratic is you stopped in just the right spot for two of the spinys to be hitting the on off switches so it was going a lot faster than it should have.

Yeah, given the level's aesthetics - the aesthetics of a well made troll level tend to be different from the sort of trolls within the hot garbage levels Ryu normally encounters, I suspect it was a knowledge checkpoint rather than an attempt to upload an unbeatable level. The CP1 room reeks of a CP1, also, so it might even be beatable from any checkpoint (assuming there's a second one in there somewhere) rather than the dev needing a dev exit anywhere.
