R3 actually still doing Ok at 6.0, they can still pen side of most of the medium tank and light tank, even he can pen M26. It's still great , but sadly Gaijin balance it by player stats, not vehicle Advantages

The R3 T20 is why I stopped playing war Thunder. I loved just taking out the funny things and my absolute favourite was brawling with the asu57. The moment every single match had them spammed with them being at a lower BR and light years better in every single way, that was the final kick I needed to stop playing the game. I know you can play the ASU as a sniper, but that takes what made it so special in my heart and makes you play it in the exact same way as any other tank destroyer.

yea, the amount of empty shell casings is ridiculous, when they said increased detail on the ground, I had expected, leafs, twigs, branches, gravel and such stuff, not just the same shell case repeated again and again and again and again and again, over a surface area of 10 square kilometres. actually looks worse than before, and way less immersive.

Do you have a newish (900 series or later) Nvidia graphics card? Hit Alt+F3 to open the game filters and enable sharpness, brightness and contrast, and something else that I cant remember off the top of my head. Otherwise just enable ULQ in graphics settings.

I had matches of a team practically made of only EBRs when I play allies, and there are 3 main problems: #1 is that in 5 minutes or less sometimes half or more of your team are noobs that die in that time and your team is spawn camped. #2 is that going against the same enemy, again and again, is so boring ._. #3 is that some of them go to strategic places and spawn camp and, guess what every time you come without thinking they kill your KV-1/2 or Churchill like butter my fix: PUT THE EBR IN 6.3/6.7 AT LEAST {or at least AMX 13 level} [please stop the EBR syndrome PLEASE I BEG YOU]

I'm with you, even as an R3 maniac or what you more like to insult me. Even at 6.3 the EBR kicks asses left and right, i was with one of it with my Fiat 6614 and i have made 5 spots in neither 2 minutes against mostly Sherman 76 Jumbos, Centurions, and other medium American/Brits tanks (and i have only score 2 M18 kills)...i was like "man...i've rpg HEAT, but he's ripping them apart" and the game was mostly done. Two objective conquered easily by us, just one for them and little to no CAS...they can easily uptier it to 6.3-6.7 it's a monster for too many aspects to stay only at 4.7.

Heh, it took them how long to raise it from 3.7 to 4.0? I doubt any more is gunna happen, maybe some tinkering with shell pen, ammo belt size and reload times, maybe repair costs. They're very defensive regarding criticism over possible errors in BR placements. Plus it's suitability in "events" that include tasks to capture points attract less skilled (More risk taking? Less team focused?) players who just leave the game after getting killed once, making those precious statistics that Gaijin base everything on probably show the thing as actually under performing. Nice video as usual Odd, plenty of water and sleep to get rid of that hangover... or just stay drunk, that works as well.

It's not a combat, it's a slaughter but not just the EBR, R3 can actually slaughter anything it faces at it's BR. The mobility + 2 plane stab + Rapid firing 20 mm autocanon is simply too much for its BR. It has to go up or stay where it is but get its AP belt removed would not be able to kill anything bu other SPAA but would be the best SPAA of the game until things like the flacon.

Still use it on 9.7! I just race to the cap, hide, kill any other soft tin-cans that can show up before i finish the capture, annoy IFVs, and spawn in my A-129 in less than 4 minutes after the start for maximum annoyance! And take ot the OF-40 MTCA (usually after the Dardo) as a 3rd or 4th spawn to clean up, or as a last stand if my team collapsed ! But even my team hates me when i play like that!

I personally like the ebr and the r3. Yes they can be op in the right circumstances but more often than not they get shredded by anything higher than 12.7mm. Besides you can't beat the feeling of blowing the arse out of an R3 at full speed and watching its lifeless husk dragging itself to a standstill.

France 4.7 (EBR, M4A4 SA50) are second most under-tiered vehicles, but the R3 takes the cake. I have an idea though, hear me through: give the R3 at least night vision; however, take it to at least 8.7 or 9.0 where it actually faces 1980s and 1990s vehicles. That will hopefully nerf it in a satisfactory manner: buff it with modern optics, but up its BR as hard as possible. one of the most chaotic things I thought of for War Thunder.
