👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I was so happy to see you do a wash and go. I know..."don't get too happy." Anyway, it turned out nice. You were a little heavy-handed with the gel because a little does go a long way. Because it is a softer feeling gel, it seems like you need a lot, but it defines your curls more as it dries. Your curls are plump, your hair is shiny and I can't see the flakes that much, so I say it's a WIN! Glad to see she has a looser leave-in because the moisturizing cream she had was pretty thick and hard to distribute through the hair (although it did give moisture...for me anyway) so a lot of people didn't care for it. Thanks for sharing her new product and for surprising us with a wash and go. 😍

Hi SheRea! Your wng looks good to me.❤️ But I never get a super defined wng that lasts for days when I use an oil or product with oil before applying gel. Oil and products with oil can break up the gel formulation and your curls won't do what the gel was formulated to do. Especially if they are natural gels with medium hold. When I use gel right after rinsing out my deep conditioner, my wng's are very defined and they last for a good 5 days. And I have type 4, tightly coiled, kinky hair. Try your gel right after you rinse out your conditioner and see how that works to see if you like that better.

TFS! Yaaas to the blackowned brands! That gel is crazy! I applied this in the shower and the definition was ridiculous. I did not use alot at all! It also foamed for me. The bad thing is that this doesn’t rinse out well and leaves my hair less manageable the next wash day so I gave it up. I think Heavy-handedness + creamy leave ins + gel + little to no water is definitely a recipe for flaking. But the end result came out cute. How long did it last?

Girl yes, wash and gos can be SUCH a pia lol...and same here, damp hair application all the way bayyybeee, I get such better results. Been interested in Curl Daze for awhile and this makes me want to try them even more, esp the leave-in, so happy when I saw her products in Target, she's so sweet, happy for her : ) I feel the same about oils at this point for the most part, but you have me interested in this one - Oooo that health, wng all types of lush, looks so good🌞🔥

I always loved- no LOVEEEEEE your wash and go's. You have really beautiful curls. I'm with you on the soaking hair rule. Soaking wet hair evaporates the hair products on my strands. I can't get a good gel cast either. Styling with damp hair works so much better for me too♥️♥️♥️
