OK so maybe I should have cast the Armageddon there, would have Armageddon if I had another attack or turn. Didn’t want to set myself back without a path forward. In jeskai it’s not that hard to get outraced for mana, esp if you’re the last one to rebuild. Plus any bounce or sacrifice for Narset and I’m boned.

I run narset and any chance I have to blow up lands I go for it. Armageddon would have taken out Cassius and set everyone else back. I understand the hesitancy but in my opinion you just go for it and see what happens. Great game to watch regardless.

Part of that I think was that game knights takes like 10 hours to film. So it’s a much longer day than the viewer would think. Imagine playing a 10 hour game of edh, getting mana screwed, and losing. Probably not going to be in the best mood.

If you want proof that this is most definitely an adult version of Game Knight you need to watch the previous episode where Prof (Tolarian Community College) was ecstatic he could actual sware on the channel in frustration.

@@ConvoyBebop Game Knights often, but not always, promotes the newest releases of MTG. In instances where they do not do that, or have a really powerful set like e.g. Modern Horizons 2, the power level can sometimes reach 8 or 9. But yeah, on average the decks you see here are stronger.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, a lot of talk at the end but Urza is being read wrong, it's not activate and play the card there and then it's activate, exile the card and until end of turn you may play it, so you can exile the entire deck without needing to cast any of it, and then you can pick and choose what to pkay from exile on any order to win.

it should have been but he discarded it due to the oppression enchantment I think, so he never actually exiled a card to play it to begin with. Which he would have needed to exile his pact of negation I assume, losing his second counter spell.

they would have scooped anyways and I don't know if the rule effect for time twister allows you to put exziled cards back into the deck but it doesn't matter they untap 2 permanents a turn and cash has infinite counter spells so he just locks them out and swings for 1 or can just keep lasting urza for constructs and kill them via combat damage
