I am not sure if this was mentioned, but belbe would in fact have given lynch 2 colorless on his second main when he took the loss of life from sylvan library. Belbe refers to the opponents of its controller losing life before the postcombat mainphase. Same with prof losing 1 life from city of brass he to would get 2 colorless from that as well.

Best episode yet! Love the banter between Kyle and The Professor. Looks like there's a misunderstanding when Kyle's explaining Belbe at 18:10. One of the rulings of her explains it best: "If an opponent loses life before their own postcombat main phase, Belbe will reward their suffering with mana." So Lynch should have gotten 2 mana for losing life to the Sylvan Library.

Laughs in "Your deck is a power level 5 Battlecruiser." Common sense dictates that on a 10 point rating scale for EDH deck power level, precons have to be a 1. No one is going to make something weaker than a precon, maybe some jank theme joked deck, so I could accept precons being a 2. Cedh top tier lists that can speed out a turn 1-4 win would be a 10. Then Cedh lists with sub-optimal commanders or underplayed commanders that sit in the more turn 4-5 range would be a 9. The most highly tuned deck with no combos to win - a 'battlecruiser' deck that wins off combat damage - would be a 6 at best. And that is me imagining all the Cedh artifact ramp into a strong commander into Craterhoof/Triumph of the Hordes type effects. On a 10 point scale, for it to remain a 10 point scale, the ratings of 2-5 have to actually be attributed to something. EVERYONE ALWAYS rates their deck at a 6-8, making it a 3 point scale, and this is bad for the game. If you sit down at a table saying their decks are 7's and 8's and you bring a highly tuned battlecruiser deck, you need to understand that your deck is a 5.

First time i'm watching your channel guys and this video was epic. I love that u included the rule 0 talk (although the assessment of certain decks might not have been the most accurate lol) and the fact that u skipped the boring parts like library shufflings. The overall relaxed conversations, the constant roasting of each other, the occassional cursing and the not so hyper-focused on the gameplay mindset also reminds me a lot of the casual games i have with my friends.

No joke, I won't use a card no matter how good it is if I don't like the art. My Derevi deck is partially designed for the sole purpose of looking pretty as silly as that sounds, haha. I think this has been my favorite IHYD video. The presence of the prof and the constant interactions and conversations were really entertaining and I actually really like Kyle’s deck this time. Really cool build. Keep it up guys loving the guests

I really enjoyed watching you guys have fun in this episode. However I'm also here to see decks pop off in a glorious fashion, so it would be nice to see what the deck does. I'm quite new to Magic so I can't always work it out without a clear explanation. Anyway love the content regardless, keep it up!
