@@libsoric6693 Blue has good creature removal and Green has good artifact/enchantment removal, the decks just are just running minimal removal for better or worse. It is painful to watch so many turns pass and so many cards drawn with so little removal at work, stax pieces render irrelevant most of the contents of cEDH decks lol
@libsoric6693
@libsoric6693 2 жыл бұрын
@@greengandalfziggy1 For most of them they know that removing the stax pieces could mean something far more dangerous from their opponent than from themselves. There's no point in removing stax pieces the later into a game with the more people having cards in hand in CEDH, it can just as easily mean someone else wins on the next turn on the spot. It's smarter to progress their own board while keeping interaction for the scariest players at the table.

Great game! For me a few highlights: 1. Super complicated boardstate interactions. 2. All sorts of quirks with timestamps, layers, the stack, and priority. 3. Higher is an extremely observant player and has really good threat assessment to boot. 4. Everyone misses a trigger/interaction every now and again. I wish there was a little more of the ad naus build shown, but that's how it goes sometimes. As always, great notes at the beginning.

I really enjoyed this episode, felt like a group of friends who've been playing a long time together just doing magic things and chatting :D There were a ton of missed things, though. About half the lands that should have come into play tapped didn't, a few more zombies should have been created (before that land became a mountain), obviously those missed land drop triggers, Lynch shouldn't have had Rograkh come into play after casting his commander, he also couldn't have played the Grand Arbiter (because it's even CMC), and a few other things. Still, this was a good game to watch. cEDH that didn't end within the first couple of rounds can certainly be enjoyable.

I really like hearing a rule zero conversation in the context of cedh. I think a lot of people think that cedh doesn't have a rule zero, but it's always important to talk about the decks, game, and expectations

Hey, one of my fav cEDH channels. I love that you guys are branching out and including this part of the community on your channel. Side-note: Did you guys pick up any sweet Kamigawa cards? Got a Boseju (of course), phyrexian Jin, MGS Satoru and Light-Paws. This set is super cool.

I love the video guys; fantastic as always. I have a small backseat suggestion for Lynch; maybe you could start using your Power chips or something similar to mark your cards with triggers, and dice to keep up with cards that have counters, to help you keep up with your mana confluence ticks, gemstone caverns, etc.

williams is good but may I throw danny elfman's name into the ring as well? with edward scissorhands, nightmare before christmas, beetlejuice, batman, spiderman, men in black, mission impossible, and a million others... also howard shore who did lord of the rings, silence of the lambs, crash, the fly, seven, departed, etc? I mean there's some real BIG hitters out there who have made scores with WAY more variety than john williams as much as I enjoy his iconic big movie hits
