that was a mistake. assassin's trophy cannot target your own permanents. Even with the deflecting swat cast it still cannot be redirected to your own permanent

There were so many shenanigans going on, triggers everywhere, the energy from this group was infectious and the advantage was shifting all the time. You guys missed a trigger - when Lynch played his Lions Eye Diamond - he should've taken 5 damage from the Rolling Vortex because no mana was spent to cast it - otherwise fun game, I have an Ob-Nixilis Captive Kingpin deck as well, a little different than yours, but a lot of the same cards, including that Kederick Parasite - lol

Fun fact: Imps mischief only targets the original spell, the new target for that spell is targeted by original spell (so in this case, hexproof on Forgotten Ancient doesnt do anything because Chaos Warp is being cast by Forgotten Ancient's controller). Also you don't choose the new target with Imp's Mischief until mischief has resolved. Meaning you cannot choose an illegal target, in this case either the Ancient or Ob Nixilis would be warped it isn't possible for both of them to stay. Relevant "The Gatherer" Entries: 10/4/2004 This only targets the spell being changed, not the original or new target of the spell it is affecting. 10/4/2004 If there is no other legal target for the spell, this does not change the target. 10/4/2004 You choose the spell to target on announcement, but you pick the new target for that spell on resolution. overall was a really cool and complicated game lots of triggers and things to keep track off. Looking forward to the next video :)

So there was a pretty big misplay that occurred. Lynch couldn't target the frodo with assassin's trophy from d swat because assassin's trophy only allows for opponents permanents to be destroyed and d swat still has to obey legal targets but still awesome game! It was incredible! The ending was amazing lol.

I tend to refer to Ob Nixilis as Obnoxilus. I love the card but it entered into OP when the designers thought that a 4/3 Flying, Trample an ability that puts +1/+1 counters AND exile cards that you can play on it until your next end step...for 4 cmc. I think it would have been a little fairer if it got +1/+1 equal to exiled cards under it, than when the excess cards are exiled on your next end step it returns to being a 4/3. LOL All in all this commander is perfect for IHYD :P

When lynch used deflecting swat to change the target of assassins trophy, ray could have declined to search for a land from assassins trophy, meaning that lynch would not have controlled him and taken the land. Since assassins trophy says may, you can decline
