I wouldn't mind seeing more back to back games of higher level EDH. Even other channels like Playing With Power, will have players switch out their commanders some games. 😊 I like to see the variance of them in short, watcha le videos. Keep it up Lynch

Their decks were playing no fast mana, I saw fellwar stone and thought vessel. It would be a different story if he was running mox diamond etc. They called it turbo combo but in reality this was pretty tame.@@briansanchez7848

@@briansanchez7848Good rule 0 for games is that if a player can effectively infinite combo, they technically get the win but the game continues without that player (they concede but are acknowledged as winning the game). Everyone gets to play the way they want to play.

Glad that Larry made that point about Randy's stax pieces and not to feel bad about them. Against low power, sure, it can be too much and create painfully slow games but those first few games showed the reverse can be unenjoyable (as an opponent) too.

I support proxies for primarily one major reason. Whatever i win or lose, i want it to be because of skill not because of budget. Its no fun for me to walk up to some beginners with free rocks and optimized tutors and interaction if they’re playing basically precons, that feels dirty to be and bad for them, so its nice to have a level playing field for deck building among your group. Also, there’s been so much getting printed (secret lairs were the last straw for me) in the last few years that i would go broke if i bought all the singles i wanted to play and i can’t responsibly keep up with the cards at this point.

Wake of destruction cares about name not type, since urborg doesn't change the name of the card it only gets the swamps

Could you imagine an episode with larry, lynch, ayli, and corbin from dankest dungeon? Would honestly just be a masterpiece. Aylis a powerhouse, larry for his dad energy and competitive play, corbins amazing ability to think on the fly and pull a win out of nowhere, and lynch for his good vibes and ability to match the level that hes playing against. While still being able to provide amazing group banter. Heck if it was a five person pod id throw in that in (i apologize because i cant sed his name) the guy playing kennrith, for his natural ability to become the arch enemy every game he plays in and his exposition. Would be amazing.

This is why you need stax, to keep the combo decks in check. I also LOVED when the blood moon came out lol. How does burning earth + bloodmoon interact with each other, do they still take damage or does bloodmoon negate it?

As per the rulings on Bloodmoon -This effect doesn't affect names or supertypes. It won't turn any land into a basic land or remove the legendary supertype from a legendary land, and the lands won't be named "Mountain." Meaning the lands will still be non-basic.

18:03 the perigrine Drake combo would work without the training grounds as well. Costs 5 to reanimate, drake untaps 5 lands then sacs for one more so you still net one mana. Training ground just makes you go infinite-er

In this case he didn't have enough lands, cause the Mana Confluence would have killed him. That's why he couldn't go infinite with out TG for that first out of 4 games this episode.

Loved the last game the most, stopping the cEDH Decks. But I do wonder how lynch blowing up all swamps would work with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in play. Or does bloodmoon prevent all lands from beeing destroyed?

As per Bloodmoons rulings: Nonbasic lands will lose any other land types and abilities they had. They will gain the land type Mountain and gain the ability "Tap: Add Red." Meaning Urborg no longer turns other lands into swamps.

When Wake of destruction was cast and it targets a "swamp" due to Kyle having an Urborg on the field would that not blow up all basic lands as Blood moon was still in play or how do those all work together?

Urborg is a basic mountain with blood moon in play...

Wake of destruction checks for the named land. Urborg doesn't change the name of any lands, it just turns them into swamps in addition.
