I enjoy Math’s podcast because he lets the guest speak. He’s not interrupting them. He does what a host is supposed to do ask a question let the conversation flow and then transition you to another topic, rinse and repeat. Method Man would have never been able to give this answer on other platforms. They would have interrupted him.

Biggie did the same w Juicy & Big Poppa. At that time it was about wanting to be the hardest & nicest MC. Dudes wasn't thinking about the ladies like that outside of LL, Heavy D, & 2Pac who had that balance of hard street records while catering to the women & top 40 radio.

Meth may not have wanted the attention that came with “All I Need” but that was the best match of 2 artists and a song! I play that song to this day! Some guys got it and some don’t However he probably has the right attitude to keep the attention from overtaking him.

Damn I wish they would have segued into more about the 4,3,2,1 and about his perspective of LL and Canibus falling out cause he was a part of that too. I love Meth, his stories are necessary and apocryphal to this hip hop bible. I'm glad he has a platform to share some classic stories when the spirit moves him.
