@allwaysbemovingАй бұрын
I lived in Asia (S Korea and Vietnam) from 1995 - 2012 and only returned to the US so my daughter could attend school here. Though I'm grateful for the education she has received, I can't stand the lifestyle here and can't wait to return abroad when my daughter graduates and goes to college in 2027. And then I have no intention of returning other than to visit her ... if she remains in the US. I'm hoping she will decide to live abroad as well.

Hi @allwaysbemoving, Would you like to be a guest start on one of my videos? Here is an example guest star video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4SwkGWgdqhnrJY Your interview could be just your voice or we could do a zoom call showing your face. If you would like to be a guest star and share your story please leave a personal message here: vagabondbuddha.com/contact/ Thank you for your comment. The detail of your comment makes this real for people. If you have a business, service, or KZbin channel, you could share that on the interview. Best, Dan

Dan, I'm 63 now and still doing the grind here in the USA. I found you and my other favorite vloggers during the pandemic and finding you was the best part of that time period. Your insight and video travels have done more for my future outlook than my 35+ years of work life. Now, I have something to really look forward to upon retirement and I've changed my views on vacations. I now never take less than a 2-week vacation as I know that my first week is to decompress from the grind back home. Your description of vacationing while working and realizing that you needed to leave whatever paradise you were in is spot on! I love your ability to live your best life and supplement your income with your skillset! I'm playing catch up with your videos, but every time I watch a new video, I realize it's like checking in on an old friend and I absolutely love this. Sooooooo,.... Where will you take us next?

The other thing you missed or dodged in the USA is divorce and having to start over when you're 45 or 55. You are a lucky and smart guy!! Now I'm getting set to leave the USA and won't even date here anymore. I'll be following in your footsteps within a year.. Keep up the great videos.

Im 48 years old retired with a city of new York pension for life I own a gorgeous house that's paid off in Brooklyn new York as bad as I want to live abroad I'm so nervous to sell my house and leave forever because I know how hard and expensive it will be to come back and replace everything. So I decided to live overseas six months out of the year. I can't believe you been traveling for 17 years that's truly amazing that you've been traveling to different countries for all that time. God bless you. I'm sure having your girlfriend traveling with you makes it easier than being alone and traveling.

Sell your house tomorrow - then go buy PHYSICAL GOLD - and tell no one. In ten years time you'll be able to buy seven houses.
@GeeGee19Ай бұрын
@@CosmicSeeker69that's the worst advice I've ever heard. I brought my house in 2000 for 200k now it would sell in one day for 1,400,000.00$. Real estate is the best because of owning this one home it will make my retirement super easy.
