I was a play tester of this game, All I can say without giving anything away from NDA is it's similar to Rocket League, I also think the flying is better then Hogwarts Legacy.

I will say, gamees need to stop looking so cartoonish.....if I wanted to play fortnite or borderlands I would become gay....they needed to make this quiddich gane look like hogwarts legacy...normal clean realistic but instead they went eith a cartoon style doodoo

@@krolentertainment3533he just means in terms of competitiveness and it’s a game where you score goals within an arena. Rocket league is also a game where you score goals within the arena. I had also wished the art style was a little diff. But that just cause some of the faces otherwise it works and I like

I remember when they showed the trailer and I got really excited but since then it has all but left my mind since I couldn't find out virtually anything about the game and so as time passed I simply forgot. But now seeing this video and realising they still haven't advertised the game or put out very much information is very worrying to me. It seems like only people who got to playtest it have any clue what sort of game it is, what about everyone else?? I want this game to do well but it's so tough to be hyped when I have little idea what exactly I'm waiting for. Just give us something to be excited for, literally anything!!!

I remember how hyped we got when the "jump" post for HL was made. Such a silly little thing like jumping is not some revolutionary mechanic, but the content creators were there to spread the word and we were basically eating from Avalanche's palm at that point. Hardcore fans will still be hyped (probably?) but I'm not sure about the other people. Like the casuals who bought consoles just for HL. Are they interested enough?

There looks like there are only about 4 to 5 YT content creators actually talking about this game. I know some games can come out with nothing upfront and do well, bit like Hell Divers 2, but it is very rare. Even little updates like you can pre-order the game from a certain date would get people talking about it. It was basically shown as a world premier trailer at Summer Gamesfest and that is it Hog Leg was #1 sales in UK last week and last month (mainly Switch).

I honestly thought Quidditch World Cup in 2003 was amazing back on PS2 and gamecube era, even thought the graphics and animations were great at the time. Has many great mechanics and features that could be the foundation for this new Quidditch Champions. If the new game doesn't even surpass that game in nostalgia and gameplay then they really dropped the ball.

I think that they are going to use the brand power to sell this game. Of course HL had brand power too but, as you said, they did communicate really well with the fanbase. I think waiting till the month before to advertise is crazy but I know that they do the Back to Hogwarts stuff and I have a hunch that the game will be promoted then. I still don't think it's the best marketing decision seeing as people (who haven't play tested) are having some semi-negative feelings about the game.

Again, I hope that the Devs understand our feelings that we are not only angry for being angry. We are angry because we have the feeling that we were being betrayed due to the last "direction" that they took during the first launch from the beginning and now we're fear about the huge changes that you've make. This game should be at least a 5v5 with: - 1 Keeper - 1 Beater - 1 Seeker - 2 Chasers (with a third emplacement for swap/help and be 3) If each person wants to swap during the game, it's ok, they have the choice. But 3v3 for "short queue time" isn't a good argument in my opinion. Especially if the game will be crossplay. We can see on a video that the game will be like that. I don't know who made this analysis to make this game a 3v3 but he's totally wrong. Just look at "Pokemon Unite" which is just a MOBA like League of Legends. The game is not really a rival for the other but he have his own audience and don't have the problem for finding a 5v5 on Matchmaking. So I don't know why you think that Quidditch Champion will have some problems about this. Yes, "PU" and "LoL" are free. But if you're game is good, the price isn't an argument too because like "Pokemon", you're touching a fanbase who knows that what the game could offer. Since the last announcements you've make, I think that I will not buy the game because it's not the idea that I have about this type of content and it's not what you showed us during the past.

I was apart of they play test! All I can say it wasn’t for me! I honestly think they was better off putting quidditch in Hogwarts legacy. I can see people getting bored really quickly of this. But hey I hope it’s successful. I really want a Harry Potter mmo or vr game.

To be honest, the trailer didn't really do it for me. The radio silence and no talk about the game has also been off putting and it's also concerning at this point. The community helped so much with the hype for HL and it was great when that game delivered. As things stand, I might pick up the game at some point, but I'm not inclined to pay full price for it let alone pre-order.

I was a playtester.. without breaking my NDA, it feels like it's on rails, the flying specifically. it feels like a Nintendo switch game that was Ported over. It feels slapped together, and specifically children/casual focused.. it will most likely be riddled with Microtransactions judging by the look of certain 'things' in the menu. I'm a massive Potterhead, grew up as the books were coming out. I played all of the original Potter games on PC when they were coming out. This game just isn't it... this game just feels like a cash grab, it feels cheap..
