Would love to see bass reactions to various electronics (2D sonar, down/side imaging, and forward facing sonar). I know these are probably hard effects to isolate, but there is a *ton* of misinformation out there about fish reacting to various sonar vs. just boat presence/trolling motor noise/etc. Would be really interesting to see idling with sonar vs. trolling motor with the same sonar for instance on deeper bass.

Steve, there are 2 things I'd like to see underwater footage of. They are my 2 fav techniques: the drop shot and a swim jig. I'd like to see footage of a drop shot worm which has been casted out, not dropped over the side of a boat and how the bass reacts to it's presence in the water. In particular, I'd like to see how the bass reacts to dragging the worm slowly, how it reacts with some shaking/activity and, how it reacts to the worm dropping after being held taut. I'd also like to see if the worm stays horizontal and actually looks like a swimming bait. The second footage I'd like to see id how a bass reacts to the swim jig being cast out, allowed to fall and, then stroked firmly off the bottom. I think the reaction you'd see from the bass after stroking the swim jig would be fantastic to view! Thanks.

I love all of your underwater bait/lure footage. Having the super slo-mo will make it even more valuable. Love your work, this is the best, most relevant bass fishing channel on KZbin. Would love to see the following, if possible: 1. How bass react to the presence of a boat with and without the trolling motor present (what is the impact of the trolling motor and distance from boat to fish). 2. To take it step further, how bass react to both 2D and forward facing sonar. Do they know its there, or do they ignore it? 3. Possibly a study on retrieve speed and "reaction strikes". A lot of your videos show bass and prey species like bluegill just floating around in the same area together. Wondering what activates the bass into predator mode. Thank you for all you do!

I know it would change lake to lake, state to state, season to season. but I'd watch it. thanks for allowing us the input.

Actions of rods in use. Fast action vs xtra-fast, medium vs medium heavy, etc…. an expensive rod with a reserve power backbone vs inexpensive rod. Honestly I think with whatever lure is being tested there should a decent about of focus on bass behaviour. What I mean by that is like what is the bass looking at, maybe there are small looks we don’t get to see at normal speed. Body language, fin movement could indicate where the bass wanted to go but didn’t all these little things. There should be capitalisation on slow motion to look at everything. Thanks Mr Steve for all your research, it has really helped me on my bass fishing journey. You are my go to and favourite person/channel to consult when it comes to anything bass fishing. The correct answer is yes, but I'm sure you knew that haha Start with slowmo lures interspersed between your more time consuming bass attach vids. Also, see if you can rig a few angles right to capture how line moves on a cast. Different reel same rod - does it behave differently? How are the guides spaced? Does that make the line come off more smoothly or less? How do baitfish move when they're just chillin? When they're fleeing? Thanks Steve!

Some thoughts: How bass examine a bait before they eat it. Video of a bass “hitting” a bait and not eating it. What they do after they try to “stun” the bait. This would help us know what if anything we anglers should do. Bass waiting to ambush from their hiding place in rock, grass, or a cut bank. How bass respond or ignore baits that are the wrong color or the wrong bait. I realize that some of these if not all might be impossible if not close to it. Just some thoughts. Maybe watch some of Doug Hanna’s old videos and replicate with better resolution. Thanks for all you do.

Your channel has been very informative and been watching for over a year. Keep up what your doing! I would say a way for you to expand your channel or create a different supplemental channel is film different lures, Types-cranks, soft plastics Jerks etc but in different brands to show the difference. You can maybe contact lure brands and ask for "samples' for underwater testing. One of the main things that makes me buy certain brands is by how the lure looks underwater that way i can see if it is something that looks good to me or fits my style of fishing. TW will sometimes have underwater video and it's a huge plus to me seeing if I will buy it or not. THE HOOK UP TACKLE also does some vids in there test tank at their store.

Hardbait's and then a little soft plastic bait action that follows through on which ever hard bait it is at the time. Some times if you have a hardbait and can duplicate some of that action in a soft bait can sometimes make all the difference in the world. I would like to see videos like that in regular and slow motion. How an fish hits an lure or soft bait in a few videos in regular and slow motion will be good too. I was gonna suggest one thing unrelated to that when I watched the recent video on fish cruising at certain depths on edges. You commented in that one about finding that depth. I video on what you think the best (fastest) way to search vertically would be cool. Most "search baits" are for covering water horizontally. Not sure if there really is one but it's a thought.............As for some fun with the slow mo, maybe some kind of comparison on fish mouthing and eating or rejecting soft plastics that are impregnated with salts vs not...Ir even Gulp.
