it's a buff/debuff thing lol (+ means that you take less damage from that weapon type/ - means you take that much more damage) I have been sticking with the diy attak stuff mainly because it gives no - on it.

When i first started the game i thought this game super hard or glitched because i couldnt level past level 1 and i managed to reach floor 6 on a level 1 fighter and then one time when i came back to the waiting room i just noticed that floating brain thing which you use to level up (ik it took me a while XD to find that thing when it was only outside of the elevator and when i levelled up i went from lvl 1 to 24 straight away XD

Don't know if you found this out yet or not but if you kill the pillbug beast instead of picking it up and cooking it you get a mushroom that if cooked will restore 50% of your health when you take lethal damage.

As a rule, early game you should use Red Hot Iron and machete, as well as fists, since all these weapons are useful throughout the entire game

@@ZaReGFX nah never did. Shit got really grindy and I got bored of it. BUT i will say that at one point i came back and got like 600 of the skull currency thing. (Probably not exactly that but it was a ton) you'll probably enjoy it for a year or 2 or if you don't mind the grind for longer. And when I wast still playing they gave free skulls regularly.

So why not have a snail on you? You ate one to clear your inventory, but in lvl you don't have snails, let one go, get poisoned pick it back up. Use it against enemies too.
