The 5034 sounds amazing. It was very easy for me to find a smooth lead tone that also sounds great with my 7 string in drop A. $40 for my Behringer UM2 interface, free Cakewalk DAW, and this plugin would be a great starter bundle for anyone looking to get into home recording for a very low cost.

I have a guitar in B standard/ Drop A that I use for Crowbar type songs, I plugged it into this thing and it blew me away. Of course nothing like being in the room with my 6505+ blasting but i can get 80% the experience if I want to jam a bit at night and not make my neighbours hate me even more then they do lol. It's so easy, it's basically plug and play any setting works

I was about 3 seconds away from pulling the trigger on another commercial amp sim cuz ive been struggling finding a usable tone. Then i got the notification that fluff had a new video and BOOM! Amazing amp sim! I have only had it a few hours, but this might be the best amp sim I have ever tried. I tweaked the Metalcore preset a bit, added some eq and got one of the best tones I have ever gotten out of a sim. Very realistic. Thank you!

Just agonised for half an hour A B- ing between this and my current 5150 amp sim, and I think I prefer my old one, or I'm just so used to it. I conclude that I prefer yours outside a mix and mine in a mix. There's a big but in this, and that is that yours is free! So for a free amp sim this is top notch and for anyone wanting to record metal at home then don't spend when you don't need to. Fluff well in on this one mate good work

For anyone using Linux: I just got done testing this in WINE and it works flawlessly. (just make sure you have JACK set up. It allows you to set up for low latency which is kind of required for a decent experience.)

Have an Ibanez RGT42 with SD Invader Pups so I had to tweak the presets a bit for clarity, but after tweaking the Djent setting I have found the tone I've been searching for months for. Sounds great, ready to lay down the new track I've been writing. If it sounds as good as I think it will after mixing I may buy the license, would like to try the Mega

Already have a bug to report: When turning off the internal IR and switching presets the knob doesn't represent the current state of the internal IR (It's on by default on presets!)

@@bulletproofprs When I load my own IR in Fluff's amp sim, the IR sounds completely different than it does with any other amp sim. That's true even if I turn the IRs off and run a separate IR loader after the amp. Not sure what to do.

Dude. Vsts are way cheaper then real gear. If you got the specs, you equivocally have a fractal. Check out bias amp and bias effects. Also guitar rig 5 is pretty sick. I love the rammfire plug in it's based off the rammstein guitarist

Fluff, I just want to say thank you so much! After many many months of searching for a sound that I feel is just right, trying everything from amplitube to tse sims (which are both great), the 5034 with the djent boy setting was all I needed. I clicked on that setting and that was it and I was blown away! Did a quick test in Ableton along to a drum track and was just like YES!!! My tone search I feel is over and the fact that it was totally free?!?! Can't beat that with a broken guitar neck! Thank you again this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for.

This thing DOES chug boys. I prefer the djent setting. The fluff preset is nice but I just want those mids! I'm running GGate > TSB-1 v 1.0.1(ignite amps) > Amped roots > And a Joey Sturgis gain reduction to give me the body and to clear up some extra noise. Super sick amp dude. I was working with the ignite emissary and then switched to the Toneforge. Couldn't really find the sound I wanted with that so I moved to the TSE X50 and that was pretty nice but I think I found my new go to for recording my riffs and backing tracks. Thanks so much fluff you are a G O D !

Absolute correct philosophy for an amp sim. Pure unadulterated simplicity and great sound of an awesome tube amp. I hate tweaking sims for dozens of hours and love just turning on a tube amp and having a great sound from the get go.

I bought it and it’s effing great, Fluff. I can’t say enough how much I love the sound, the format, the philosophy of it. It’s perfect. Just one thing: add a ‘clean’ amp in the future as an update. Please. I don’t want to have to use a different VST for clean; I want to stay inside Amped Roots. And these amps are so high gain that rolling down the guitar’s volume knob doesn’t really clean and chime up the sound, as I normally like to do. Please, please, please. Maybe add something that you like for clean tone. Just a suggestion for the future while you guys are developing pedals for this. Other than that, I’m in love with this plugin. Just downloaded the free amp and I'm super stoked to try it. UI looks simple and clean. The full access price looks completely reasonable as well! I have a Kemper at home, but this is PERFECT for taking my laptop and interface to my practice space or to a friend's house and getting some great demo tones that may be good enough to keep as the final.
