Wow a free Amp Plug-in! Thanks man - just loaded up the 5034 in Garageband and easily dials in some chunky sounds. The other trials sound really great also. Nice flexibility with the cabinet speaker mixer.

In case anyone is wondering about your free 5034. I have the evh 5150iiis el34 100 watt head and the roots plug in is DAMN CLOSE. I have irs of my cab. If I record my real rig and a di, with my personal irs and amped roots I can make them sound close enough even I can confuse which one is which. You guys these plug-ins are legit.

Sold. Damn, these sound great. Coincidentally just got my first IR's from ML Audio Labs a couple days ago--most usable, concise IR packages I've experienced. So easy to find what I'm after--no more endlessly scrolling through a zillion slight variations (like in the other packages I have too many of). Great video, thanks!

I bought your Roots plugin! I loved the free version and used that for a while before I finally decided I wanted the rest of it. I can see myself getting a few more of the MLSound amps.

Cool vid! Next time, do one which is a retrospective of all your signature guitars / pickups that you’ve had over the years and tell us how your tastes have evolved 🧐

Amped roots is my fav amp sim. My fav are the peavey style and Mesa style amp sims. Dialed in my own tone and a lot of people I've showed my demos too, say they really like the guitar tone! I also use it when I jam/practice with my band. It sounds as good as the real deal, my bandmate uses a evh 3 head with an orange cab, and it's as good imo.

I don't have a pedalboard, this Amp was a great gift for me. I've always wanted to play on an EVH 5150 III, but I don't have the money to buy one. I'm grateful that this program is free. I really liked the Amped Roots 5054 Fluff. I intend to buy the other Amps (5151, Freeman and Mega Fluff), at the moment I'm having fun with the Free Amp.

Fluff how loud do you play your roots plugin through the monitors you use?I play your roots plugin through a older Technics receiver and Optimus Pro X7 speakers at lower volumes and it sounds ok but nothing like the tone you get in this video?Any tips so i could get better tones out of your plugins?

I actually had the same issue until I disabled the cab section and ran my own IR’s through another IR loader. Solved the issue for me and performed better overall. Hopefully this helps.

@@spectre5022 ya I only downloaded or redownloaded I should say bc of the updated cab features but it’s more a drag than it’s a plus. I’ve got more IR’s than I can shake a stick at . So I’ll give it a whirl with different IR’s … ReaFir’s nice in reaper too bc you can just use it as a cab sim . I’ve got “eq matched “ tones they help a lot too

Just imagine being able to load these into a pedal platform. 1 to 4 switch preamp style, vst loading pedal. It would allow for picking your favorite vst amps sims and loading them to the vst pedal as if it were a computer. Maybe have an app to access the controls or make it touch screen. I could park my super expensive tube amp and bring a seymour duncan power stage to gigs with the vst preamp pedal. my amp will never have to smell like a bar and ill never have to lug is 50 pound ass anywhere ever again. Someone please make this happen. If its a super huge success, just send me one for free for the idea. Lololol... but seriously this needs to be a thing. I would likely buy 2 or 3 of them. I mean if you can load vst's to it I suppose I could have my favorite vst compressor in a pedal. Or eq. Or saturation plugin. Or delay. Or whatever vst I want. Amp sims being the main focus of the idea though.

Need a laptop. DSP chips still need to be bigger and need better cooling for a pedal yet
@OfficialKevinFox2 жыл бұрын
They all work in the context of a mix. But The drums and bass sound so un-natural , that it’s tough to really hear the differences. Especially the drums. So much compression and saturation to the point where I think almost any amp sims will sound great in a mix.
