A great DLC for someone like me with about 30 hours in the game... not enough there for devoted players.

4:44 The infected Dran are bugged and dealing more damage than intended! The Abyssal Hook and the OTK's hammer are bugged damage-wise too. Tragic was discussing it in the Discord.

ive heard the dlc gives you like 12 amulets, 24 rings, idk how many other weapons, new archetype, pretty good area even though i finished the one shot in like 5 hours, the one shot is quite nice cause it just lets you explore all the new areas, and you still wont get everything from the dlc. in remnant 1 the first dlc was basically what we got here, just a more expansive corsus.

I honestly really enjoyed the dlc Liked it a lot more than the corus expansion on R1 bosses were a little tanking except OTK and the enemies are definitely weirdly balanced feels like money well spent especially compared to maybe... a Destiny season I look forward to their next DLCs and might continue playing R1 and 2 (with a mix of other games) till then Edit: I do also have around 120hrs and 15 in the dlc already (not a lot for a devoted player but significantly more than a normal casual)

As a build crafter I loved the dlc for the new toys they gave us. Story was alright. And the new areas were cool. Most people already thought Losom was the best world so more Losom was awesome of course. Would like to see a dlc going more in depth with Nerud. I’ve had enough of Yesha so hopefully they skip that one and give us an entirely new world like the dlcs from the first remnant

My take away is that you are maybe more frustrated with some choices (Cotton’s Kiln tile set) and implementation of choices (one shot adventure and having to play old content to experience new content after that one shot). I haven’t finished a full play through of a One Shot Awakened King. I started playing with a friend on his story, so I still have my one shot that I could play through to get certain things). Overall, I’d say 10 bucks for this experience is at the very least par for the course if not a step up from other monetization strategies. I like that there are no micro transactions or other stuff things that I have seen in other Live Service games. Thanks for sharing your take.

The nature of the Remnant games makes it tricky to integrate new content. They have to walk the line between making the new content available to players, and keeping that randomness factor. I think what disappoints me most is when I see unrealized potential, and this DLC has a ton of that IMO. This is still clearly a very good DLC and a welcome addition to the game.

The King’s hammer is really good with the new ring that bleeds you. Also the girl that was talking about “shadows” piercing her brain and the king also having “shadows” becomes an aberration, same as the preacher which if you listen to his monologue is preaching that the one true king is a salvation to the dran. Two aberrations talk about the one true king, one worshiping him, one relating to him. These are heavy stretches however but there are hints.

The biggest disappointment for me was that we never get to interact with the ship that's sitting offshore. Other than that it was just fun to have new stuff to do again.

8/10 I personally didn't get a single bug, I made a cult for the new secret gun. I just wish there was one more weapon and OTK was stronger/harder.

Regarding boss balance: it's funny how much opinions can differ. I liked the first two bosses, then the OTK seemed pretty easy to me! I liked it, but it was fairly easy. I did it all in apoc straight away. It took me long to find that the spear throw gets cancelled by going below Bruin, but I observed something: every time you do it, he tries his one hit kill attack right after, in ten tries he did it every time, so I suspect that is the mechanic of the phase, you have to go below him. Took me a solid hour to find. I liked the Witch fight, I really like close range fights and I found her attacks well telegraphed and the mobs were easily dispatched with cleaving melees.

I had a blast playing this DLC, using the spark fire shotgun with ritualist and Archon is one of my new favorite builds for sure! I'm on PS5, and I also ran into the worst performance I've seen in the game so far in Forlorn Coast. I was fighting enemies in the harbor area with 2 friends and fps tanked to what must have been below 20.

I'm pretty bummed it doesn't imply we killed the imposter king, or mention that they were slain (even if not necessarily by us). I get it though. I love the dlc.

I like the dlc, I also thought there would be more bosses. Gunfire games teasing those that bothered looking up the lore 😅 Edit: those frogs can go jump off a f*cking bridge, they sure as hell tempted me....

Honestly, Losomn was the most uninteresting biome for me, so I don't really liked to go back... Story was "meh" at best, new stuff, ok-ish, but definitely too short after the massive base game.

Remnant is natorious for putting stpry explanations on the books you find around the map. If you dont take the time to read those you probably wont fully grasp the story

I hate the anguish with a passion it gotta be the worse way to get a new dlc weapon why couldn't we just fight the night weaver for it i much prefer a hard boss fight then a god damn scavengers hunt and you wanna make sure you get the right seed uhhh i have many mix feeling about choices in this dlc 😢

Took me about 2 & a half hours with a fresh campaign once I got the Nightweaver+Mansion injectable, but yes it is tedious and all that for an average damage charge shotgun secondary that has a lackluster mod you can't remove.
