I wrote stories as a kid too. Stapled the pages together. I drew a few bad illustrations for it. And my dad was so excited and proud he made copies and handed them out to the whole family. I was so happy. Gave me a lot of confidence! He has since passed away but one day I'll pass my stories around worldwide...and dedicate it to him...📚📝🖋📑

I think another good person to have read your book and annotate it is Merphy Napier. She's very analytical. I know she reads fantasy and she picks apart books so well. Like I've read a book (well I've read many, lol) and there are things that I didn't like or something that made the story suffer and she totally pin points it. Like I'm listening to her and saying "that's the problem I had with the book" or "Yeah, that is true!" (because I didn't see it till now, but she's right). Just a thought. I'm really excited to read your book, though! Congratulations!

When I was writing a story for school, my Dad gave me such a good advice that I don't think I will ever forget: There's no such thing as perfect writing, there's only perfect rerewriting. I think that's word-for-word but you get the jist of it.

Congrats for the agent! I am so glad you went with twin travel novel because I don't really read fantasy, but really want to read something by you! And I know maybe it doesn't sound good, but it is relieving to know your teacher told you that you would never write a book, my high school teacher told the same to me and then last year I've selfpublished my first novel and I am working on its translation and its sequel. It feels good to know I am not alone! Never quit dreaming, no matter what people say! ❤️ Can't wait to be able to buy "twin travel" 🤩

It was cool hearing how you chose which one to query! In my case, I’m going to write and query my fantasy story first because I know how that one will progress and I know my other stories will be set in a nonfantasy world and span a lot more stories than the fantasy one!

I was thinking about that, currently writing a book too. It’s weird but we don’t have book agents here in Quebec. You write a book, than send it to publishing houses directly and when one in interested in you book, you sign a contract and work with their team. It would be so much easier if we had agents too to help during this big step.
