So simplified the concept who am I. Marvelous speech. Hats off Nag.Ashwin. you're great and ultimate. So you mean to say to change the world, first thing to change oneself by knowing who are we all?. Isn't it Ashwin?

#kirankishore . I understand your ignorance. He is so honest he admits at the start, he is not sure if those are facts, but makes sense to him. All the theories he quotes from different people throws light at one common thing which is oneness.. somehow everything in this world is connected. He uses words like mirror neurons, oneness and so on. If you really wanna know, go watch teachings of sadhguru, a mystic. He names the same thing as collective inclusiveness. Just because u don't experience it or your logic cannot frame it, u can not deny a possibility. And throwing a scathin attack by comparisions ? What kinda of light you throw on fellow humans. Criticizing others is the best way to save the world ! Parents being doctors are not over achievers and him being a successful movie director is no way less. At least he is honest and happy.

I haven't seen your latest movie but will sure do soon; Its IMDB rating is 9.3 (2346 votes) against 9.2 (1337039 votes) of The Godfather. Number of votes aside, it is still amazing. So I can't miss it. After knowing your latest movie's rating, I googled you. I came to know about your short film and Cannes film festival and all that and got more interested. Watched the short film. KZbin, then, directed me here. I watched this video. I tried to understand what you wanted to say and I guess I have understood a little. Then I carefully read all the comments. I understood some couldn't make head and tail out of your words. So I would like to put it in my own words. Not that my explanation would be better and more clear (I admit I myself don't understand the inherent meaning of something like "The world is an extension of my own self or Aham Brahmasmi or something like this" ). But this is just an attempt to emphasise the point because I believe in this point though I don't understand it. Here we go. You wanted to communicate the whole world is essentially the extension of your own self. Not knowing this is the root cause of all the trouble around you. Getting to know will eliminate the cause of all the trouble. To tell this you took three persons who explained that the whole world is the extension of yourself using three different ways - Philosophy, Biology (or neurology or whatever) and Physics. Your facts or statistics or technical jargon may not be perfect (which I am not competent to judge either) but the issue you raised here is definitely worth taking note. and certainly needs to be understood by us all. Let us move forward in this path, dear friends. PS: If I were wrong, just say that and I will remove my comment :)

Can someone tell me what is the definition of a "Good movie" ... A movie that influence society and make the society move in right direction? Or a movie that makes the movie makers billionaires? What is the definition of success? To answer the above.... First thing is to answer this question " what is the purpose of human life?". As per my knowledge...the answer is " to help people as much as you can and save the environment and leave this place (earth) as much as clean, good and better place for your children... So all the human beings have responsibility to do so the above one in their own roles( teachers, doctor, film makers...etc..)...but a teacher can influence only limited group of people...but a film maker can influence a country or people in multiple countries...The more the scope and reach the more the responsibility :) Life is not to live as we like(like animals)...Life is to live in a noble way that inspires as many people as possible to live and leave this earth a better place for your children. In some movies...there is a common dialogue " life Ni nacchinattlu enjoy cheyandi..." This is the most dangerous statement. Life Ni nacchinattlu dharmamga enjoy cheyandi. Dharmamuni eppudu vidavakunda nee istamocchunatlu bathuku...it doesn't harm anything and anyone. This is the essence of purpose of life. A very good Tedex platform and video... keep sharing... Good job 👌👌👌👍👍👍

Nag.. that was a good analysis. But you touched only one half of the story. There is another half to these universal facts.. which is called ‘survival of the fittest’. That’s the culprit which divides and rules :) A diversity in unity :) This is the cause of discrimination between species, races, nations, religions, castes, sub sects, families, relations, siblings, offspring... and ultimately it boils down to ‘I’ :) Sad but true. All sorts of mutually contradictory phenomena exist in this universe. That’s what makes it interesting I guess. Finding a balance physically and mentally amidst of all these is a challenge. When it’s hard for an individual to find a balance.. we are aspiring for a collective balance 😁 . Too ambitious, isn’t ?? I came to know about you through the most talked movie ‘ mahanati’. I rarely watch movies. I didn’t watch your debut movie. I couldn’t watch mahanati too ( though I wanted to watch it ) as it’s not released here in UAE. Huge Telugu, Tamil & malayali population lives in UAE. Do market your movies here too.

The uniqueness is what makes you who are! There cannot be two same living beings with no uniqueness. So, about the speaker telling cutting hands and all, doesnt make sense. As the hand is not living thing! So the next time if someone asks you ' who you are' tell them the unquieness which differentiates from all other living beings in the world is YOU

Yevade subrahmanyam and Mahanati ..both are awesome movies. But this talk has some wrong conclusions about science. He confused the amazing capability of brain to simulate anything...with something heavenly connecting all living things. Just because neurons of a person without hand reacted when the hand of person sitting next to it is pricked doesn't mean there is something connecting them both. It's just the amazing power of brain to simulate the entire world. The imagery which we see all the time is not the one that is falling on our eyes. Because images that fall on our cornea are 2D. Our brain recreates entire 3D visuals with the help of phase information from our eyes. So our brain is just simulating everything at high speeds and making us feel that we are seeing in real time.

Coming here after having seen mahanati, I expected a lot from Nagi but honestly I must say I'm very dissapointed. * His attempt to relate Quantum entanglement with the oneness seemed very psuedo scientific. Someone with basic understanding of Quantum entanglement would understand that this so called "spooky action at distance" of two particles is only limited to those two particles in question and being a physics enthusiast myself, from as far I know it has no correlation with his oneness concept. * The neurology thing he was talking about, we have always had the word "Empathy" to describe that phenomenon since ages and this experiment just explained it in terms of science and didn't prove anything that's unprecedented. * He was talking about a philosophical theory by Ramana Maharshi and as we know philosophy is something which can be related with any field or phenomenon in the world and can have endless interpretations some of which can even be in stark contrast with one another. Somehow It all seems like an failed attempt to interlink different fields to bolster your theory. Frankly, given the time constraint almost all successful Ted talks are on some level or the other the same things, only they are more convincing and rigid in logic.
@satish8758
@satish8758 6 жыл бұрын
1stly, *His attempt to relate Quantum entanglement with oneness was on point. He just gave the example of "spooky action at distance" to illustrate the point that, if the concept of Time and Distance (which are very fundamental to our view of universe) have no importance in this phenomenon then the differentiation between us people on the basis of colour, race e.t.c is completely pointless. Yeah your point of that phenomenon working on only two particles is right, but u are missing the essential point here "even the most fundamental elements of the creation have no importance at the subatomic level, then whats the point in fighting on our differences." I guess that statement should clearly portray what he meant. 2ndly, * The Empathy thing, yes he explained it in science terms and he used this experiment just to show how the world can be viewed as an extension of ourselves, not to prove how that phenomenon happens. Finally, *The idea of philosophy is based on opinions or ones way of absorbing it, and yes that means that there is always a possibility of two of them opposing each other, here he mentions his two friends who get into a fight and the irony of what they are fighting on, he plainly mentions that "if its working for him then im happy for him" and thats the point, "no matter how many oppose you or have different opinion than yours you need to do whats working for you." and the point of harming others just because it is working for us is not possible as he mentions when you consider everything an an extension of your self, you won't hurt yourself. PS: Im not trying to prove a point or contradict what you are saying, I too dint know him before Mahanati and just like you i came here after watching that movie so I don't have any special bias towards him. Sometime the point that people try to make, wether it be a joke or an idea just flies over few peoples head, (again not opposing you) this happens due to various factors but mostly due to the fact that perception of the people vary from different people, im only trying to portray my view(perception) towards it. *Peace*

Thanks @Satish the entanglement thing makes more sense now, but on the whole still feels something shallow. Maybe it's just my perception.
@DushyanthEdadasula
@DushyanthEdadasula 6 жыл бұрын
And one more thing, the entanglement thing doesn't actually transcend space and time cause it's like the both particles have a sort of pre agreement of which state they are goin to be at all points of time such that they never are in a same state simultaneously. Hence no information is being exchanged and they're just executing what has been scripted earlier or following a pattern which we're yet to figure out.

Dushyanth Edadasula: bro, the points which he was explained in that way may not be cleared, but the way he understood it and put in his work is clearly u may seen in his work(films), Mahanati is an epic film which done by his excellency in understanding the Life theory..

Rddrdegards R Kumar of course the movie was great. In fact I watched it twice already, looking forward to watching it again. But I don't understand where this concept of 'Oneness' is incorporated in it. And the "Life theory" you're talking about, can you disclose any more details about it? like 'who proposed it?' or 'if it's published anywhere?'

He needs to get his facts right before sharing an idea.i did not understand a thing he said about mirror neurons.i feel sad for people like this.overachieving parents expecting the same from their kids and when they don't meet the standards set,their health battered in the process,they try to prove their intelligence by talking shit about spirituality and the world at large.these people are only capable of confusing themselves and everyone that comes in contact with them.when the time really comes to save the world,they'll just quote some nonsense from the bhagavat Gita,sit idly and smoke a joint.what nonsense.
