Awesome you can get some Father Son time! That is a cool kit, Drove one back in the day working at the dealer, fast truck, I remember the stick shift arm was tall like a semi, took a bit to get the shifting down lol, was red with silver strips.. Look forward to see the build!

A "Hobby" shop chain near me scalps Hobby Lobby clearance and Ollies to resell.... I don't go in that "town" in the "USA" for anything but paint... And not that often. Make sure you look me up at that show, would love to meet you!

IIRC, those Dodge VTS pickup kits were originally by Revell. I have one from when they were 1st issued in the early 90s. The VTS with its iron block Viper V10 engine was competition with the the Chevy 454SS and the Ford Lightning. Oddly, the Ford with a far smaller engine than the other 2 was the quickest and fastest of the bunch.

Nice video, kept me smiling. This generation Ram 94-01/02 never had the viper V10, it was the next generation with the SRT-10. The VTS is a concept truck. You were correct in regards to the auto/manual depending on cab in the 02/03 on generation. I was selling Dodges at the time and almost bought a silver 4door but really couldn't justify it at only 20 years old.

I mentioned before about Andy's HHQ doing a vid on his warehouse. All the kits come in unwrapped. Apparently that's the way they are sold in many countries. The shrink wrap is a US and maybe some Europeon nations sort of thing...

I didn't know that Matthew Inman had a son now that I know that Matthew Inman has a son now the whole Inman family can be involved in this hobby of building model cars and model truck's and the trailers for the model trucks l would like to see 👀 just how Matthew Inman's son builds his own models and just maybe their could be a contest between him and his sister Ruthie Inman to see 👀 just who does the best job in building painting finishing their model kits, is it easy to find the color Micha blue because I would like to paint several of my model car and truck replica kit's this color of Micha blue, Matthew I would like to see 👀 all of you Ruthie Heather you Matthew and your son all build some model kits all at the same time, this would be so cool and awesome to all four of you building models at the same time and then taking them to the model car replica contest's to see 👀 just who may end up winning the competition or the contest. As far as i know they "never" made any VTS pickups. ?? It was a prototype. Dodge only came out with the ram SRT10. But i think i have at least four models of those trucks.

I don’t understand why it matters that they were purchased at Ollie’s. Weird. Once “I” purchase it, it’s MINE. If I decide to sell it, I’ll ask whatever price I want to ask. Why cover previous price tags? I have vintage factory sealed Johans and MPCs with $2.99 tags on them. Is that how much I’m forced to sell them for? 🤔

They aren't vintage price tags so if a scalper wants 30 and they see they only paid 13 they probably wouldn't buy it. You're right, but think you missed the point. The question was why the plastic was covering the price sticker. I guess Ollie's got the bare boxes and shrink wrapped them. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
