I started off as prot on my pally just so i could get into heroics faster and roll on as many nethers as possible. after making my lionheart and deep thunder I still have 19 left over. getting the mats was easy as well because I'm also engineering and the big brain move was to farm clouds on the initial days of TBC hype and sell the primals for 40-50g a pop... and after an hour in nagrand I would have around 25 primals because of no competition at the time. now everyone rolls need on nethers (crafter or not), none of the primals sell for more than 15g, and the number of bots farming them is insane. timing is everything.
